Should such be grounds for disarming all law enforcement officers in the united states, on the grounds that they are not perfect and accidents will happen so long as the human factor remains in play?

The ultimate hypocrisy is liberals waving the "You can all come in" banner to the illegals, and then having a fit when Trump suggests that these hypocrites take the illegals in to their 'sanctuary' cities.

 

Sorry your logic have a large hole in it as I and others with concealed carriage permits are not acting as agents of the state while in these new arm teacher programs the armed teachers are indeed acting as agents of the states.

The states will those need to given the armed teachers the same immunity as police officers happen to have.

As firearms flood into our schools it just a matter of time and not a great deal of time before some innocent child is killed either by accident or error on the part of a teacher.
