This is an article written by...........a Republican.

One that can read the writing on the wall, or at least some of it.

I love the smell of schadenfreude in the morning!

Ted Cruz has 79% of 14% of the popular vote locked up!

    Be afraid!

    Cant beat Santa Claus.

Santa in public: Ho Ho Ho free stuff for everybody!

Santa in private: Ok team, do everything you can to make sure they stay in a position to need free stuff forever. Santa wants his permanent underclass.

The only one that would have a snowballs chance in Hell would be Christie IMO.

And there is no way he'll get the nomination.

And I wouldn't be surprised to see him come over to the Democrat side by 2016.

I think the right wingers might drive him over to us, just like they did with Charlie Crist here in Florida.

Making your excuses for losing already I see.

Probably a good idea to get it done before the big rush.

Yup I'm just making excuses, you got me. Obviously there's nothing wrong with subjugating vulnerable people in order to create a permanent voter pool that is so dependent upon handouts they would never dare question their overlords. Clearly I'm just pouting.

They were saying the same thing about Democrats in the 80's.

As the country becomes more Mexican, it's unlikely that Republicans will win for quite a while. Hispanics in general are more left-leaning than Occupy Wall Street, and Democrats knew this way back in the 60's. That's why they changed the immigration laws, and why we've been flooded with Hispanics ever since. If we had the same demographic composition in 2012 as we had in 1980, Romney would have won in a bigger landslide against Obama than Reagan did against Carter.

Demographics is destiny. Democrats made the decision long ago that turning the US into another 3rd world Hispanic country ala Mexico is worth gaining a permanent lock on power, and as this thread demonstrates, there's no shortage of whites cheering on this goal.

Eventually, though, this whole progressive house of cards will fall apart, and conservatism will be turned to out of necessity. We are already seeing signs of that in Europe. The US is about 20-30 years behind Europe in terms of experimenting with socialism. Maybe we'll learn from their mistakes sooner. Maybe not.

The last time I checked, the Corporate Welfare Queens get a much better deal from the Republican Santa Clause than those needing the social welfare. Maybe we should cut corporate welfare first and pass job creating bills so those needing social welfare can go back to work. But you can't find many Republicans in congress that are willing to pass bills that would cause job creation. It seems to me that the Republicans are the ones trying to keep the poor from working their way up to the middle class.

I would love to hear about these changes to the immigration laws.

    I don't recall any.

What I do recall is incessant right wing rants about hispanics being illegal.

So, how do these alleged law changes help them?

Obama's election and reelection is proof the old white guard is done for. The Tea Party is the rebirth of the old south and also its demise. It is a shame too because true conservatism is a damn fine thing when it comes to many fiscal issues.

Your post seems to ignore we had near unopposed immigration from Mexico well into the 20th century

Crazy... you mean they didn't come here before the days of welfare?

Like I said, this started in the 60's, after the immigration law was changed. We had the quota system in effect to protect us from welfare seekers before that.

Can't wait until the democrats control everything and the "white guard" is gone. It's going to be awesome.

    In a word no.

I wish someone would start a "hey fringes , shut up" party, I'd vote for that party.

The party is called the democratic party... This party sometimes in addition to telling the "fringe party" to "shut up", they also call them "terrorist".. But don't worry, other than that, the democratic party fairly listens to all sides ;-)

I've looked at Myra Adams numbers and have come to the conclusion that...

Tea Party are the John Birchers that William F. Buckley wanted kicked out of the "Conservative Movement" in the late 1950s, because he knew they would destroy it.

Today?....nobody (or few) are able to stand up to them, much less isolate and neuter them.

Buckley is probably doing 3500 RPMs in his grave.

Written by a republican that no one has ever heard of.

A conservative will win. less than 30 years ago Reagan carried every state but one, and only lost that by a small amount.

We need a real leader, that is what people want,

Reagan used one tax cut, plus several tax hikes AND more Government spending to create a decent economy....he was a Keynesian. He appointed pro-choice Justices, signed arms treaties with the Soviets, and gave amnesty to illegal immigrants.

All YOU remember...is what he said, not what he did.

No he wasn't. he created 16 Million new jobs. That is not a "decent" economy.
