And, how do we begin to clean it up when the people that need to be gone make all the rules or just make up rules randomly? Unbelievable.

One could ask the Mayans, Aztecs, or Incans that question.

FL thought THEIR economy didn't have that kind of time.

AZ thought THEIR economy did't have that kind of time.

I don't know what your governor is proposing as a plan, but it's pretty dang clear that ignoring medical science is just plain stupid - and lethal.

The feds, IMO, don't have the authority to take over every school district in the country.

We probably will have to convince our corrupt pols that actually solving problems is in their interest. That will be a hard sell.

While cases in Fl are skyrocketing.

The death total is ticking up. IE, less deaths per case.

There's an election this year. It's and easy sell. Solve problems or become a civilian again.

I would like to see the entire congress get a reset.

Amen. They believed we should open the economy.

    A few states did that.

We see the results - which are astoundingly bad, including for healthcare in general and for the economy.

Now, they want to do more of that???

    Unbelievable.

I think caution needs to be followed.
    Sanitizing. Hands and objects.
    Distancing.
    Crowd size limits, etc.

But complete closures, let each city decide.

One doesn't have to travel to Fl.

NY has travel bans, implement state level travel bans.

One could make an argument for gutting congress.

They really don't do anything. The country has been run by EOs for over a decade now.

Congresscritters have yielded their power to the prez, so they don't have to make any tough decisions. They've rendered themselves useless.

Only a fool believes a politician.
And they work for the campaign donors. We are a country of bribes. Legal ones.

Produce desired number of positive tests.
Double count i.e. same person has two positive
use blood of the same person for two different tests.
just put positive instead of negative
    etc...
people are very creative if they have financial interest

...who has a financial interest in covid-19 cases spiking for a given area?

That is exactly how positive results are manufactured.
Some other coronaviruses expose very similar markers, they also counted.
Like I said people are creative.
According to CDC number hospitalizations is declining.

I do not know. All I know is that COVID-19 is well compensated. Search for coronavirus fund.
That second peak that we have does not make any sense.
Number of deaths is declining, number of hospitalization is declining, but number of case is absolutely insane.
The only explanation I can come up with is that positive results are artificially manufactured.

Deaths and hospitalizations are both definitely increasing right now.

And they lag behind infections by several weeks. And a month ago, the case counts were dropping. Then they started to rise. And now we are seeing the results of those new cases play out through hospitalizations (first) and now deaths.

After reading quite a bit about it, I realize that this disease will have long term implications for anyone afflicted. Aside from a shortened life span (which those in their twenties can't fathom) it is going to be a very expensive situation for folks. We have to get the healthcare issued resolved...now!

There’s not a lot of profit to be made when people are afraid to go to places where they would spend money
