I am not a typical Hannity watcher anymore. I have heard his talking points repeated at least 20 times a show and frankly lost interest, even though I find him likeable enough.

I watched last night because I wanted to get to know Carly Fiorina a bit. Last night's show was clearly organized to allow her to showcase her views and what actions she would take on the issues of the day as compared to the current administration.

I have to say, as a person and as a communicator, she is impressive. She has a solid grasp of world issues and moves in larger international circles than I would have suspected.

Fiorina is a savvy self-promoter who could shove some of the mediocre aspirants out of the spotlight.

I don't disagree that in terms of public office she is a new comer. She isn't a career politician.

I see that as a positive.

She doesn't owe any foreign agents anything because so far, she has never taken any foreign money to get elected which I would bet every other candidate has done.

She doesn't owe any lobby or any business anything. She can actually DO something.

She has never abandoned Americans in a foreign embassy to die and she is not awash in scandal.

She was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth.

I don't think she can win unfortunately. She does have enough friendships with foreign dignitaries I am concerned that eventually she will give in to the temptation of foreign donations...especialy from Israel.

At the very least she strikes me as honest and sincere in her desire to be of service to her country, which is more than I can say for Hillary Clinton.

Despite both the delusions and the valid criticisms directed at Clinton, Fiorina would not have a chance against her in a national election, but she could make some of the GOP empty suits look pretty pathetic.

Never say never. Hillary is as exciting to listen to as watching paint dry. Someone dynamic like Fiorina could wipe the floor with Hillary in a debate. Hillary will stick to talking points that sound hollow.

As I said a couple weeks back, she's probably the best you got.

She is not an inspiring candidate, but Americans are not going to become enamoured of slick self-promoters like Fiorina or Trump.

The herculean efforts by Fox and Issa to contrived scandals fizzled, and it is incumbent upon the GOP to offer a viable alternative.

Hillary has a net worth one-third that of Fiorina, is seven years older, and was never divorced or fired by Hewlett Packard.

I wish the county actually voted on their political ideologies.

Sadly most people vote on things like divorce, age and gender

    Is Hillary a crony capitalist?

    You're British aren't you?

I remember thinking of her as being a disaster at HP, and after losing to Boxer in 2010, I kind of figured we'd seen about the last of her. But I'll have to admit, she does seem to have a fire in her belly for this campaign. At this point in time, she's probably the most well versed and determined candidate in the field, especially on foreign policy.

All realistic possibilities for the presidency are capitalists, "crony" subjectively applicable in varying degrees. Bernie has no chance.

(I shall produce a birth certificate if ever I decide to run.)

I don't think her time at HP was a disaster. The I.T. industry was beginning a transformation at that time that is still going on today. She took some bold steps because HP was vulnerable. You can point to the layoffs with HP as a negative but sometimes that simply has to happen to stay viable. The merger with Compaq didn't produce the growth she thought it would, which was the bold step that failed.

She did as much good as bad at HP that she probably won't get credit for.

Face it, people that vote nowadays don't want actual experience in the real world, they value political careerists that don't have a clue.

Hillary has massive cankles and Fiorina doesn't. And don't forget, Fiorina obtained her wealth through hard work, dedication and demonstrated ability. Hillary obtained her weath from connections with her political cronies, fraudulent futures trades and a fake family charity.

I don't know Hillary, but her record speaks for itself. Although I must disclose that the cankles really gross me out.

Don't be surprised if the American electorate has a different assessment. Some who were in a tizzy over Obama last time actually got themselves all wee wee'd when their entertainment media told them fairy tales of an imminent Romney Landslide!

Those who don't want to see Clinton as the next president would do well to find, rally behind, and promote a credible alternative rather than indulge themselves in incessantly sniveling about her.

Hillary probably won't even get the nomination of the left. But nonetheless, the Republicans haven't shown me a viable candidate yet either.

No, the "left" is not enamoured of Clinton, but the establishment moderates that control the Democratic party will nominate her, and she's leading all potential opponents in national polls.

Fiorina would make a really good candidate but I don't think she'll do well this time around. The field has become so crowded , I think it'll be very difficult for her to break through.

Anyone familiar with her tenure at HP and then willing to wish similar results on America must truly hate our country.
