The police chief can only be as good as the mayor lets them. The mayor is the one that created the mess in the first place. Of course she is a Democrat that was elected so the citizens that voted for her deserve every bit of damage they get. The ones that didn't are just ****ed at the hands of the Democrats.

Biden has admitted he wants to defund the police. With the majority of blacks wanting the same or an increase in police presence in their neighborhoods the dems are toast.

 

I think his phrasing was something along the lines of 'reallocate funds' so you're probably going to get some angry lefties coming in here telling you how wrong you are and that biden doesn't want to defund the police.

But honestly, we should probably move away from talking about what biden wants because, in reality, does it matter what biden wants? Is biden making a single decision these days? We should probably just refer to what the dnc wants, or what his handlers want. And now, maybe, what kamala wants. Don be surprised if right after the two year mark of bidens presidency (if he wins) he resigns and she takes over.

 

Redirect funds or reallocate funds means defund the police or at the very least hamstring the hell out of them so that crime will increase.

It depends on how you interpret what someone means when they say 'defund the police'. If you go by the strict definition of the word defund, then that means all funding would be stripped and, consequently, the police would no longer exist. No, Biden has not said anything of that nature. But if you interpret 'defund the police' as simply cutting their funding and reallocating it elsewhere, then yes, Biden has called for that. Bottom line: If you think you have a clue what will happen if Biden wins, you're lying to yourself. Biden isn't calling the shots, what Biden wants is irrelevant. The problem is, I don't think we really know who's making all the decisions. I just know it's not Biden.

Seattle police chief fires back at suggestion to lay off officers ‘out of order’

As the Seattle Police Department looks at the Seattle City Council’s demands to cut the department’s budget by 50%, police Chief Carmen Best fired back at a suggestion from Councilmember Lisa Herbold to lay off officers out of order of seniority as a way to preserve the jobs of people of color.

“We cannot do layoffs based on race,” Best said. “I would love for Councilmember Herbold to work with us and not against us, making sure we have a viable number of officers.”
