em no. That was a bit of spin to make Israelis breathe and those who want Palestinians dead feel justified, given that any person who has any relationship to the Government of Gaza according to them deserves to be killed without trial or even mention of anything they did wrong. Some people have accepted a genocide on the people of Gaza as long as the word Hamas is used. This began before the 2014 war when Israel said Hamas killed the three Israeli teens. I remember Israelis talking on this forum as to them wanting a genocide on Hamas. Gaza Hamas did not kill those teens. A 'hamas' group based in Turkey I think, who hate Hamas Gaza and always do something when they are moving towards peace as they were at this time with their Unity Government which was going to demand Israel get involved in genuine negotiations did. Israel knows this group. Israel knew it was not Hamas Gaza. Right from the beginning there were leaks from intelligence. But that is the date from both Israelis and her supporters have taken it upon themselves that they have a right to kill any and everyone in Gaza provided they use the name Hamas and that of course includes anyone with the loosest connection to them, tea boy for instance as well as course as their families. The name Hamas now to many both in Israel and her supporters equals approval for Murder.

Nor did Hamas plan the March, another reason to excuse killing over a hundred Palestinians including children, the disabled and the Press and give thousands of them life changing injuries by firing bullets at them which explode inside. Nope this was deliberate carnage done by the love of killing and injuring Palestinian people and enjoyed by those who enjoy same.

The Palestinians have said that Jews from the settlements can remain where they are and become part of the Palestinian State. Your wanting to take away citizenship of people without their agreement however is just more of the lawlessness of Israel's supporters who wish to take this world back to the dark ages of no law and 'might is right' which many have been cheering now for years.

There you go again cheering for no law. You cannot ethnic cleanse illegal settlers of an occupying army but here we are back among the lawless ones.

    Well...
    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...uture-palestinian-state-idUSBRE96T00920130730

Doesn't the above mean that any Israeli Jew still remaining in a future Palestinian state will be forced to give up Israeli citizenship or be thrown out of his house? Seems pretty much like "might is right" from where I stand...

Of course, some would say that Palestinian Arabs have the right to do whatever they like, no matter how egregious, because of the occupation. But the moment they have their own independent country, would this kind of (twisted, granted, but let's ignore insignificant details for the sake of the argument) logic still apply?

I am not sure if they would have had to give up Israeli citizenship. There have been different ideas about this including the possibility of having dual citizenship.

What they are making clear is that in a future Palestinian State there would be no authority of Israel. There would be no settlements belonging to Israel and there would be no Israeli forces guarding them. You will be aware that any time Israel suggests anything of the sort, she always includes that she will leave her soldiers there. Some Israelis have shown an interest in this. I have forgotten his name for the time being but you had a Rabbi who used to encourage settlers to do the most outlandish things like being polite to the Palestinians and not stealing from them or burning their fields and so on. Obviously for Israelis who felt it was important to live in the West Bank and who were able to act in a sociable and non criminal way they could become part of Palestine. As we can see the Palestinians do not have the same racism as some Israelis we have seen here wanting an ethnic nationalists state. This could be one of the avenues to getting a genuine peaceful solution but I am not sure Israel wants either peace or a solution.

I do not see how you believe the Palestinians could engage in 'might is right' or that there ever would be any possibility of the Palestinians being able to assert their influence through force on Israel, although of course that has been how Israel has been keeping the Palestinians for the past 50 years - the longest 'occupation' in the world, though obviously from the Israeli side the idea is to create a biblical Greater Israel which they believe Jews may have had for a couple of Years, which suits both your extremists and your Christian Zionists friends..

The problem that those of us who don't have an automatic reflexive loyalty to either side have is this: (1) it's not clear which side is telling the truth about its aims, and (2) neither side is monolithic.

There are clearly both Palestinians and Israelis who would settle for a two-state solution, including withdrawal of the settlements. There are clearly both Palestinians and Israelis who see the struggle as a winner-take-all fight. And it's not clear which faction, on either side, will be in charge in the future.

The current Israeli government is pretty obviously against any genuine two-state solution. But they can argue that it's not so much that they are against it, as that such a solution doesn't really exist: a Palestinian state would become a Gaza writ large, just one more step on the way to reclaiming all of Palestine from the river to the sea. And no Israeli, like everyone else, wants to commit suicide.

    So what will happen?

Eventually the US will have a government, and a population, that is not automatically on the side of the hardline Zionists. Then Israel will be alone. But they won't allow a second Holocaust ... or if there is one, they won't be the only ones to perish.

Perhaps this video shows us the future:

    alexa,

Why is Israel wary about peaceful Great March of Return demonstrators, who peacefully march, have fun and are picnicking, often with small children, far away from Israeli border security installations and who are not
    • rolling burning tires toward Israeli security installations, causing environmental disaster and making it hard to see for the border guards whats going on
    • trying to scale Israeli border installations
    • using wire cutters on Israeli security installations
    • trying to infiltrate Israel
    • flying burning Molotov kites into Israel and causing fires in Israel
    • hurling missiles at Israeli border guards
    • damaging border installations and equipment
Again, why is Israel wary about peaceful Great March of Return demonstrators, who peacefully march, have fun and are picnicking, often with small children, far away from Israeli border security installations? I've no idea. You?

You avoid everything that was written just to yet again try to justify the killing of civilians who are no threat to life. You deny issues and all it is to you is justifying the killing of the journalists and photographers, of children, of the disabled and other young people from Gaza while at the same time shooting bullets into thousands of Palestinians which shattered once they went in as Israel, and her supporters like to cause as much harm as possible to Palestinians and I say that because there is absolutely no other possible reason for shooting them with these bullets which cause lifelong injury. You can take from people everything which is what has been taken from the people of Gaza but you cannot take from them their soul. That you never get.

You know what Bennet said when he heard they had killed another 15 year old - well if he had been at school he would not have been killed. Sounds like Israel and her friends believe in killing children for missing school now. There is zero question that some people in the West now have the same mentality as was widely praised in the thirties to support the killing of children. He did not even know that Gaza schools are shut on Friday.

They did not burn the tyres the first week. The burned them the second as they realised that Israel was wanting to kill them and they wanted to make it more difficult for them to see to have their fun. We already know from the first week that Israel was not going to allow peaceful protest. That she apparently did not have the patience for it. Instead she arranged for snipers to be waiting for them, to shoot them. One person was shot before anything began - just to let them know what was going to happen to them I imagine. The army were warning the soldiers before it began of the casualties they were going to cause. Possibly Israel was just seeing how far she would be allowed to go.

How Israel is predetermining a violent outcome for Gaza return march

However not everyone has become as sadistic as those who support this and after the first week Israel killed less until the day of the opening of the US Embassy. Israelis and Christian Zionists celebrating the Nabka with a mass kill. What could be more lovely for them. I heard the Israelis were cheering at the murder and egging on more

    http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/israelis-celebrate-jerusalem-palestinians-mourns-gaza-1200437883

Just like they were cheering on what they hoped would be the killing of every child in Gaza in 2014.

    and you know that.

and what Israel is scared of? - the same as you, some justice for the Palestinians after being held prisoner for 50 years- that Israel would be required to give up some of that land it apparently says she has in the Bible. That the believed prophecy does not come true, Israel does not get their land, 140,000 odd Jews do not become Christians, all the Christian Right do not disappear somewhere and not be harmed and are cleared for any inhumanity they did while doing what they believe their god wants them to do. That all that does not happen. No, while they are in rapture, everyone else on earth except the few Jews that joined them, if any do, will be suffering agony and death. My God imagine if there could be a just solution and people could live in peace. But no one has been up to that since Rabin was killed ten days after the US made its position on Oslo clear by passing laws to move its Embassy to Jerusalem in 1995 For over another 20 years the Palestinians lived not just without rights but having their land and resources taken from them, being shot or bombed and living still in shelters one generation of the family on top of another in the West Bank, having to either collect water on their roof or buy it privately or go and drag it home regardless of age or disability because Israel has taken their water. This of course even stops them being able to work the fields but Israel has an answer to that one too, she takes the fields too if they have not been able to make anything grow for a year due to lack of water or attacks from settlers...and you expect anyone to take this lying down when the ones with the guns then decide to hell with International Law, to hell with any justice for the Palestinians we will move our Embassy to Jerusalem as the US begins its descent into the pits.

Although the US and Israel have forgotten this and totally lost their moral compass, it is illegal to kill people just for the fun of it. The only time when it is acceptable by law to kill civilians is when they are an immanent threat to life. No one that was killed was - not the children, not the disabled, not the press and not the other protesters.

I know that Christian Zionists are not interested in helping Israel but just in trying to play out what is in their bible believing they will not be held to account for the harm they do but it is important for others to be aware that this is not helping the State of Israel at all. Shin Bet managed to convince Rabin that without two states there would be no long term Jewish State. ex Leaders of **** Bet sent a video of them talking about it and how no Israeli PM had worked for it and asking please could someone get the Isrealis to understand to British MP's before the backbenchers vote acknowledging the Palestinian State. They all watched it the day before the vote. I watched it too. That vote was a route of anyone who did not agree with a Palestinian State. That vote was by our backbenchers and gives you a real glimpse into what the position of British Politicians really are. I was watching an interview of an Israeli Ambassador who had worked in South Africa both before and after the end of Apartheid. He knows what that is like. He knows that is what is going on in the West Bank and he knows that that will be what will continue and unless the whole world is going to become neo fascist with Israel leading it, then there is no way that Israel can survive like that. The Ambassador knew that, he said that, I know it and everyone who knows anything must know. Henry Siegman has spoken about how he like those he knew always imagined a Jewish State would be a state with a strong moral conscience, not what has come into being as a Jewish State. The only way the State of Israel can carry on now is as an apartheid State until the world cripples her and then a state for all her citizens with equal rights for all which will be so much better than the injustice these people have had to live with, some for every day of their lives for half a century. You have no idea of the pain these people suffer every day. No idea and no care.

Uri Avnery writing about the lives you feel so right to be taken.

Since 2000. 2175 Palestinian Children have been killed by the Israeli's. 134 Israeli children have been killed by the Palestinians.

    http://ifamericaknew.org/stat/children.html

Thus - if we are keeping score - the Israelis have committed nearly 20 times the number of acts of terrorism.

    Continuing this line of though:
In WW2 German casualties were more than 7 Million, Japaneses 3 Million, US less than half a Million.
Thus - if we are keeping score - the Americans have committed nearly 20 times the number of acts of war crimes.

    Wow... from your own link:

“The majority of these [Palestinian] children were killed and injured while going about normal daily activities, such as going to school, playing, shopping, or simply being in their homes.

What do these poor (most likely dead by now) Palestinian children doing at Hamas rocket launch site, which was surely bombed to smithereens soon after this video was taken?

DO NOT **** WITH ISRAELIS, MY FRIEND!

I wouldn't characterize the situation as a bunch of Palestinians trying to individually assert claims to expropriated lands, but even if one thought that was what we are seeing, given that they get shot at when they get close enough, a sensible Palestinian would seek service of process and file his claim.

The article does not say these children were killed at a Hamas rocket launch site. As you quote... they were killed going about their daily activities such as going to school, playing shopping or simply being in their homes.

While it is most likely true that some were children killed in attacks on a Hamas rocket site . Many of these kids were killed during Israeli Assassination attacks. Attacks that had no military goal other than the killing of a single individual the Israeli Gov't had targeted - for any number of legitimate or illegitimate reasons.

These Assassination attacks used large munitions in civilian areas. These attacks were conducted regardless of whether or not civilians were present = Terrorism - the intentional killing of innocents.

This is why almost the entire world has claimed that Israel is guilty of war crimes. It is not for "nothing" that almost all world leaders and every humanitarian organization with any integrity has done this.

These attacks were so callus in their disregard for innocent civilians (including children) that 27 members of Israel's own air force got together and refused to fly these missions stating:

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2003/sep/25/israel

"Those darn Israeli Pilot anti-semites" .. Yeah .. thats it..

alexa, you wanna dose of reality?

The Israel is beautiful and vibrant Democratic country where Jews, Muslims and Christians live in harmony with equal personal freedoms, religious rights and political, professional and and economic opportunities for themselves and their families. The political standing of Israel is improving all the time; just today a second country opened it's embassy in Israel's capital, Jerusalem. Israel has just gotten a huge boost in moral and it's European standing with winning Eurovision. The security of Israel has never been better. More tourists have visited Israel in 2017 then ever before. I can go on, and on.

    That's reality.
