    Except Catherine died from an apparent stroke having nothing to do with attempting anything with a horse. As for the Czars, some were probably more beneficial than others. In the end, the climate has always made Russia a harsh place even in the best of times.

    Either that, or there are accounts of her death that are consistent with having been a victim of what we now know as a stroke.

    Canada is the second biggest country in the world, i dont see how size is matter in this case. problem is here that Muscovy got Mongolian form of Governance , which is not very effective one...

    Because I have read a great deal about her life.. which was amazing.. Her husband was exceedingly weak, perhaps homosexual and her mother-in-law was an absolute monster.

    I am not a Saud...

    Peter had some sort of problem with a foreskin to tight to retract.. so the marriage wasn't consummated for 7-8 years and having an heir was critical.

    He finally had surgery, the situation was corrected and they had a child.. Then they went their separate ways and both apparently had lovers..

    But, Katherine evolved into a brilliant leader and strategist making Peter look even more the dimwitted dolt..

    The rumors about the horse thing were to discredit her.

    I think she was a brilliant statesman.. I don't care that she had lovers... That was common for all monarchists... US politicians and US presidents.

    It's really difficult to get a horse to have sex with a human female.
