CDC stopped reporting number people who took vaccine but still got infected

"Breakthrough cases" is the number of people who have been vaccinated but still end up getting infected with the virus anyway.
The CDC stopped counting them back in the spring. Anyone care to take a guess as to why?

Maybe because it would not look good for the whole narrative that these vaccines are a life saver?
