I would like to point out that the "global elite" are not necessarily more in touch with reality than the average people.

Yes, of course they often have business sense, and are not stupid people, but that does not mean they are all-wise.

As much as you would like, but facts remain facts. You look for an excuse for every fact that is inconvenient for you, but in reality your attempts only cause a smile.
Russia is the only country in the world that can wipe out the United States in an instant, just as Russia can wipe out any other country (or even several countries at once). Therefore, Russia is a superpower. The head of the US Chiefs of Staff also speaks about this. And this is a fact. Agree that he owns much more information than you do. However ... maybe you think that the head of the US Chiefs of Staff is an idiot? I wonder if you think all the military officers of the US Army are idiots or just him?
And, as I wrote above, all of this can obviously lead to a social explosion. Therefore, those who have the opportunity are building a refuge for themselves. Or do you think they are idiots? But, you see, those who managed to earn enough money to build the bunker cannot be called idiots. Is not it? For example, you cannot afford to build a bunker.

And besides, why do you think that a third of Americans are idiots who are ready to believe nonsense about anything? Where do you have so much hatred for your people?

And such a leader, in your opinion, is Biden? :roflol::roflol::roflol:

But if we return to our discussion, where you said that a military man is a person with a good reaction to the enemy, and from this you concluded that therefore he is a good economist. As you said, "Better than civilian."
I gave you a conr argument with example Mike Tyson.
Are you evading an answer now?

But the important question is why does he do it? Surely not because he lives well. Is not it?

If we look at today, then I agree with you. Even in spite of the rise in living standards in China under the leadership of the Communist Party.
But if you look at the process historically, then .... for example Russia.
From a poor country, with an illiterate population, under the leadership of the Communist Party, this country has become the second economy in the world. And controlled half of the world. The Russians had such social advantages that no other capitalist country in the world can still offer its population. (for example, 100% free education of any level, 100% free medicine of any level and complexity, free housing for its population ... and a number of other social services.)
Another question is why a counter-revolutionary coup took place in Russia (USSR)? But this is a topic for a separate discussion.
I can only say that the transition from one political and economic formation to a new one is extended over time.
For example. As I have already written many times, the transition from feudalism to capitalism took place, according to scientists, for 500 years. There were breakouts, then there were pullbacks. You probably remember the Venetian Republic, the Milanese Republic, where capitalism was established in fact, but then there was a recession and a return to feudalism. A clearer example is France. Under Napoleon, it is a republic, but then a recession and a return to the monarchy ...
But in the end, capitalism won out.
A new social and political system is being built. There is no example of how to do it right. Therefore, mistakes and a rollback to the past are inevitable. But the result is always the victory of the new system.
Look - the first communist experience was the Paris Commune. Which existed only in one city and lasted only 72 days. But already the second example is the USSR. It existed for over 70 years, became the second largest economy in the world and controlled half of the world. Clear progress. Is not it?

Didn't you have enough fun when professional journalists (and politicians) assured everyone that Saddam Hussein had chemical weapons?

Sure, but what is missing is the war factor. Stalin created an eye watering
five hundred divisions, and the manufacturing output to sustain them. All
this could only take the Soviets so far.
I read recently 25% of Russians want to leave their country, and this is
50% amongst kids. It would have been even worse if the old Adropovs,
    Brezhvnevs and Khrushchevs still ruled.
The political left have this thing called the 'precautionary principle', a
totally unscientific way of assessing 'risk' for GM food, nuclear tech and
anything it doesn't like - yet are happy to foist another Stalin-Lennin-Mao
experiment on us all. Communism is totally incompatible with freedom
and a high standard of living - it must destroy freedom to create 'equality'
and this 'equality' then destroys economic efficiency.
The latest, newest example of this has to be Venezuela.

Now what are you blubbering about ? your claim that "Debt and Gov't corruption has little or no effect on the private sector" is abject falsehood.

Just because folks correct your mistakes - does not make them "Anti -American" - it is your refusal to accept correction that makes YOU "Anti American" :)

Why is an alleged superpower so worried about non-nuclear NATO forces in Europe, then? Putin sure loves to wring his hands over that. Russia is not a superpower; it is a regional power that happens to have a nuclear arsenal. Pakistan has nukes, but that doesn't make it a supwerpower. North Korea has nukes but is no superpower. There is much more to it:

A superpower is a state with a dominant position characterized by its extensive ability to exert influence or project power on a global scale. This is done through the combined means of economic, military, technological, political and cultural strength as well as diplomatic and soft power influence. Traditionally, superpowers are preeminent among the great powers.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superpower

You keep repeating "You Don't Understand - you are anti American" .. as if folks do not understand your claim that "Debt and Gov't corruption has a little impact on the private sector"

We all understand that this is preposterous nonsense mate .. seems only you are the one lacking understanding - and it is you who is "Anti American" for ignoring this massive afront to the private sector .. favoring authoritarian socialist policy over fair and free markets.

What we don't understand mate -- is why you love Big Gov't so much - and hate limitations to Gov't power.

Very True - and for good reason .. as often there was a storm brewing .. It took many centuries to dumb the population down to the point of the sheeple that we see today .. docile and complicit to every whim of authority.

I never said that a military person makes a better economist. I never said that. Is English not your first language? What I said is that military folks generally think faster on their feet and deal with the unexpected better than civilians who generally deal with the same rote job every day. Sprechen sie English?

Venezuela has a capitalist socio-political system. Just like in Haiti, Congo, USA ... modern Russia ... etc.
Therefore, there is nothing surprising about the growing crisis in Venezuela.
By the way, the crisis is also growing rapidly in the United States. Look at the price tags for scaffolding, metal products, and a range of other products. I'm talking about the United States. And if things are even worse in Venezuela, this does not justify the US economy. Is not it?
You write that many Russian citizens want to leave this country. And this is also not surprising. Modern Russia is a capitalist country. And like any capitalist country, it is subject to a systemic crisis. Therefore, this fact speaks against capitalism.
Comrade Stalin said - "To eliminate crises, you must destroy capitalism."
And he's right. The system itself under socialism does not presuppose crises. Because the economy is planned. This is a progressive system of economic management in society. Another question is that after the death of Comrade Stalin, power in the USSR was seized by the intriguer and idiot Khrushchev, who curtailed socialist construction.

    1. Pakistan does not have the ability to destroy any country, despite the presence of nuclear weapons. Therefore, Pakistan is not a superpower. Russia can do it. Do you understand the difference?
    2. I do not like links to Wikipedia, but even according to their definition, it is obvious that Russia is a superpower.
I will not talk about the military component. I hope you understand this.
Economic impact in the world - look at the gas crisis in the EU, China ... and in general around the world. Or, for example, look at the fact that Russia owns the American company Westinghouse Electric (By the way, Russia wants to sell the shares of this company). And these are high technologies, as well as the construction of a nuclear power plant, an icebreaker fleet or space. And of course, do not forget that Russia is the largest grain seller, that is, it is easily able to influence world food prices. ....
I will not list all the characteristics (I think that you yourself understand this), it does not make sense if you are not ready to listen to the arguments. I just want to note the fact that the real characteristics of a particular country does not depend on your opinion.
The United States, for example, lost the war in Afghanistan. But this did not stop the United States from stay a superpower. Because it's a fact. The same can be said about Russia. Whether you like it or not.

That's a moot point. With the same success it can be said that the military man also does the same job. Pilot, sailor, tanker, infantryman ... and any other soldier, does the same job. How does he differ from a geologist, stockbroker, actor, mechanic ... etc. in terms of the variety of tasks performed?
A military pilot performs assigned tasks related to aviation. The civilian pilot does the same. Just like the military medic and the civilian medic, they fulfill their tasks. The difference is that a civilian is taught to do create, but a military man is taught to kill.
This is not a reproach to a military man. It is a fact. Simply, this is a feature of the military profession. Just like the work of a policeman is connected with violence, but this work is necessary to maintain order.

But I was surprised that you think Biden is a strong leader. In my opinion, Biden is not the best president.
