I agree. Bush the elder is definitely someone I wouldn't think of when it comes to this sexual harassment or groping stuff. That one I really wonder about. Hollywood and show biz folks, I'd say most of it is true. But there will be some that isn't. How does one prove or disprove something that supposedly happened 20, 30, 40 years ago? Especially a he said, she said type accusation.

I guess we'd better stay tuned, I have a feeling there will be a whole lot more before all of this is said and done. I do have to wonder if some of this isn't politically motivated. Maybe, maybe not. But dang it, there's a bunch coming out with really no way to prove these things one way or the other. What a can of worms.

Pandora's box is now open it seems. Anyone with a beef no matter how old can now accuse someone of sexual harassment and instant revenge. No way to know the truth whether it is true or not.

 

I think every situation needs to be looked at differently.

Exactly. That seems the logical approach. The guy knows whether or not he did or didn't.

 

Bush Sr. I have little doubt about, as he's known for the behavior, but some good points above.

There's probably a lot of truth to what you said, a lot.

 

People remain silent for many reasons, and finally speak for others.

Some may be embellishing, misremembering or lying - it's inevitable - but to assume bad intent as a baseline is unfortunate and incorrect.

 

They didn't have a choice he admitted guilt because he did it. You want someone who maintains innocence to lose their job? I suggest filing criminal or civil charges.

But his *inappropriate* behavior is kind of legendary.

 

Sometimes one has to go with his gut. My gut would be wrong about Bush Sr. if true. The others I don't really care one way or the others. Bush Sr. really surprises me. But he is out of office and it is all kind of irrelevant today. Same for Billy boy Clinton. Rose, Moore, Franken are still active, at least Rose was. Rectification can be gained on them if true.

 

Perhaps it isn't that strange. JFK was a huge womanizer and everyone kept quiet about it. The media, even Republicans. One just didn't bring stuff like that up back then even in the political arena. Bush Sr. probably was at the end of that era.

 

Strange how it took 10 years for a female producer to realize that Charlie Rose had touched her breasts.

Do you think the CIA has been drugging American women so that it takes 10, 20, 30 years for them to realize someone had touched them? Nerve signals travel at 350 to 400 feet per second. But apparently not for American women. Apparently the sensation of touch can take as much as 30 years for the nerve signal to reach a woman's brain.

Curious how many on the left advocate for legalized nudity, even transgenders with male genitals flashing little girls in women's restrooms, but being naked around an adult woman is now "sexual harassment."

Apparently, all porn also now is "sexual harassment."

 

But what really pisses me off about Charlie Rose is that he constantly tries to finish his guest's sentences to prove how smart he thinks he is. He won't let his guests talk. He's the most annoying interviewer in history. I consider this taking one for the team to help us get rid of him. Charlie, shut the **** up!

 

You know, brave Rose McGowan arguably deserves a little (indirect) credit for the slew of sexual harassment allegations.
