It wasn't airplanes that killed the beast, it was beauty.

Yeah, it's stupid. Doubly when you consider that the gorilla died for the stupidity of that kid's parents for letting the kid fall in. Sometimes I have to hate humanity :D

I do hate humanity. Humans are the most irresponsible, disloyal, devastating species on the planet. I hope everyone gets raptured up except for me.

First of all, no accident is 100% preventable, because things you cannot even imagine can and will happen, all we can do is reduce the risk. Also, nobody is perfect. Nobody can watch a toddler 100% of the time, it is not possible. Ask your mom (is she's still alive) I'm sure she will tell you that their were times when you "disappeared" on her.

Excuse me. I said 'THIS is an horrible that was 100% preventable', which it was. And can you point out where I said that a toddler can be watched 100% of the time??? No, you can't. Didn't your folks ever teach you it's not polite to try and put words in other people's mouths? Please try and stay on point if you're going to reply to my post! Had the mother in this case been holding onto or otherwise restraining her child in some manner at the exhibit, that child would NOT have fallen into it! And I'd be willing to bet if she had been keeping a close eye on him and was within an arms reach he wouldn't have fallen in it.
