If you go back and read my comments I have never, not once, condoned or approved of Hillary Clinton using an unsecured server for emails. What I DID state clearly is that the server she used with her Blackberry was like Fort Knox in comparison to the Network Trump is using while on his iPhone.

First, unlike with the Clinton situation, we know the Chinese and Russian are hacking in, and using the information against the United States. Trump’s refusal to stop constitutes willful neglect of his duties as commander in chief.

Second, we have no idea what he’s sharing with friends, and we shouldn’t rely on his utter lack of interest in classified briefings to reassure us that no harm is being done.

Third, Trump doesn’t have to be revealing secret sources of information to be putting national security at risk. Matters as mundane as his location or his travel plans are classified. There is a universe of information that could harm the United States if obtained by our enemies.

The insecurity of Trump's calls could reveal classified information, his own exact location, and key insights into his state of mind. Trump's own person aides are so terrified by his behavior that they've leaked it to the press. The more responsible thing for them to do would be to resign and tell Congress what they know! While Trump might legally be entitled to declassify whatever he wants, his decision to do so at the expense of our national security is a breach of his oath of office and the quintessential abuse of power for which impeachment is the only remedy.

What proof would satisfy you? The Chinese, apparently, have his contacts and reached out to them. Weird, eh?

This isn't supported by the article that you quoted. In fact, the article says, "The president keeps two official iPhones with modifications by the National Security Agency."

The president uses at least two iPhones, according to one of the officials. The phones — one capable only of making calls, the other equipped only with the Twitter app and preloaded with a handful of news sites — are issued by White House Information Technology and the White House Communications Agency, an office staffed by military personnel that oversees White House telecommunications.

While aides have urged the president to swap out the Twitter phone on a monthly basis, Trump has resisted their entreaties, telling them it was “too inconvenient,” the same administration official said.

The president has gone as long as five months without having the phone checked by security experts. It is unclear how often Trump’s call-capable phones, which are essentially used as burner phones, are swapped out.

And these are the two iPhones which have modifications by the National Security Agency?

Yes but he doesn't like using either of them.

"Trump uses at least two different iPhones that have been modified by the National Security Agency, but that he insists on using a third iPhone to call his friends and other acquaintances since the smartphone still allows him to store contact information."

    https://www.securitynow.com/author.asp?section_id=613&doc_id=747097&f_src=securitynow_sitedefault

"Although one of his devices is a regular iPhone that he can use to store his contacts, the two other iPhones for official business have been modified and locked down by the National Security Agency to prevent eavesdropping." https://techcrunch.com/2018/10/24/trump-has-two-secure-iphones-but-the-chinese-are-still-listening/

The Times' report does claim that American spy agencies have determined that China and Russia are indeed listening in on the president's cell phone calls and using the intelligence they collect to their advantage in instances like trade negotiations. The Chinese, for example, have put together a list of President Trump's friends and are hoping to influence him through these trusted sources.

I have a business cellphone that is used strictly for business calls incoming and outgoing, I also carry a personal cell phone my friends call me on. It would be inappropriate for me to mix the two, the same would hold true for Trump.

From your own post, the premise of the thread is ludicrous.

The story, published late Wednesday, October 24, is based on anonymous sources who spoke to the Times.

He insists on using his unsecured iPhone to the other two provided to him by our National Security Agency. Not only that but he doesn't like to hand it over to be examined for security breaches either.

Yes, so "he doesn't like using either of them" for PERSONAL calls, right?

    We're to believe that:

    - Trump is some sort of criminal mastermind who made billions illegally over decades

    - colluded with the Russians to hijack the most powerfull office in the world

    - has been under investgation by the heads of the finest intelligence services in the world for years

    - hasn't been caught

    - is doing it all on an unsecured line

Correct, he doesn't want his personal conversations to become part of the national archive.

Let's be honest ... wtf is new or unusual ... or just a reason to get upset? Nothing!

Does any American think the NSA / CIA does the opposite? Wake up ... they do! They even do it with friends and allies as we all learned with thank to Edward Snowden!

And the news that you pay attention to didn't mention anything about the Obama equivalency?

Yeah, that was the original 2009 story, but I'm just surprised that conservative media outlets haven't brought it up to show the left's hypocrisy. I guess its just that they haven't thought of it. For example, if Fox had thought about it, they would've been all over it! I think part of it is that 'iPhoneGate' just wasn't a major story.

So essentially you don't care that he hosted Russia's two top spies, Sergei Lavrov and Sergey Kislyak in the Oval Office just weeks after his inauguration without any U.S. representatives or U.S. press present during their meeting in which he gave away security information known only to our intelligence agencies about Israeli intelligence. The Israeli's we not pleased about that to put it mildly. And you don't care that he met Putin in total privacy without any aides, U.S. Ambassador or American press in Helsinki? The fact that he insists on using and unsecured iPhone that has been proved to be spied upon by both Russians and Chinese is okay with you too?

I can only surmise from your nonchalant comment that you don't know or care a thing about United States National security.
