Hmmm. Turns out there were consequences for using fear of catastrophe to sell an idea.

Hmmmm. Turns out there were consequences to presenting a one sided narrative of lies of omission.

Who would have thought. I maintain honesty and full disclosure is best in the long run. Keep lying to folks and it’s going to be very difficult to gain their trust.

Advocacy has corrupted climate science. The problem is acute in the discussion of wildfires.
Six Warning Signs Climate Scientists Are Lying About Wildfires

    By Jim Steele

Although a 20-year period of a drier climate associated with La Nina-like conditions will dry out the biggest dead logs, so they more easily burn, changes in wildfire frequency and…

    Sloppy work in Australia.
KPMG government report on research integrity makes up reference involving Retraction Watch founders
    [IMG]

An August 2023 report on research integrity by consulting firm KPMG, commissioned by an Australian government agency, contains a made-up reference, Retraction Watch has discovered.

Reference 139 of the report, “International Research Integrity Policy Scan Final Report: Compilation of information about research integrity arrangements outside Australia,” reads:

Gunsalus CK, Marcus AR, Oransky I, Stern JM. Institutional and individual factors that promote research integrity. In: Macrina FL, editor. Scientific Integrity: Text and Cases in Responsible Conduct of Research. 4th ed. Washington, DC: ASM Press; 2018. p. 53-82.

A book with that title exists, but the four authors listed did not contribute a chapter, and the 2018 edition does not appear to contain a chapter with that title. We – Adam Marcus and Ivan Oransky – have indeed published with CK Gunsalus, but nothing resembling this reference.

Yeah it's not the climate changing that I ever denied it was the ambitious government policy that would fix it.

The solution to every problem for fascists is ambitious government policies.

The government is the single greatest threat to humanity.

I'm way more concerned about giving these incompetent morons more power than I am about climate change.

It's not the climate change issue I oppose it's the Nazism you want to install to pretend to combat it at first. And then forget all about it to do genocides.

Sorry the government isn't the answer. Likely they are the cause.

It's authoritarianism pretending to be environmentalism.

The nutcase in this video admits to Shadow banning and silencing any argument because his fragile world view can't survive scrutiny.

    He calls argument misinformation.

It's just a video of an extreme cultist whining about heretics.

Your government is far more incompetent than the US government and that's saying something.

You are talking about the most destructive force in human history. They can't save you they want to kill you.

Anybody so mattress and mentions climate change as some sort of impending catastrophe automatically untrustworthy.

He should get his money back. He's in a cult. He's perpetuating their lies and isolating himself from criticism in an echo chamber. He admits to it. He says it like he's proud of it in this video.

If something is misinformation you don't have to sign with it you just come at it with truth he can't do that because he's full of ****.

Ok, so you have a deep seated hate for government.

And, you agree that climate is changing.

    So, what is YOUR plan?

Are you just suggesting that we do nothing? Or ...

it's not that I hate them it's that they are single-handedly the most murderous organization on the planet.

Why do you want to trust somebody who wants to murder you?
yeah it's constantly changing it would be weird if it stopped.
educate people on the fact that the climate change doomsday cult have been wrong about doomsday for 30 f****** years mock them relentlessly like we do flat earthers.

Possibly make it legal to beat the protestors for blocking traffic.
No I'm just suggesting not genocide. Giving government power equals genocide every time it happens.

You want to install the green Adolf Hitler as our government that's stupid. Doing something without thinking of consequences it's waaay dumber than doing nothing.

I bet they never address their false doomsday prophecies. Religions don't like to admit when they are wrong.

Why is it bad if our climate warms?

I get that its bad for Australia... but most people dont live there. If I lived there, I'd prolly be opposed to the climate warming too (though I still wouldn't be convinced that human activity is causing it...).

But a warming climate is good for the planet (in the context of habitability for humans). Way more of us suffer and die from cold than from hot. Way more of our surface area is uninhabitable due to cold, than from hot. Rising sea levels will eat up far less usable land than will be thawed. Plants grow better with more CO2, and that means MORE FOOD.

Australians are capable of relocating to newly thawed lands over the hundreds of years it will take to raise temperatures. I believe in you. Why don't you?

Because it's on a warning trend and if we shook enough people into acting rash over it government might be able to eliminate some of those pesky rights people seem to love so much.

If it was cooling then that would be a problem.
Because they need a dragon to slay.

I was lucky enough to avoid it in school. That must have been frustrating.

It’s funny to watch some folks incessantly talk about impending doom while they are unknowingly benefiting from climate change in numerous ways.
