Sellers appeared on CNN later and issued his warning to the left – a warning he admitted “may throw some people off.” “You know I don’t think Democrats have much to be excited about right now,” he said.

“I think that if the election was today… I think that Donald Trump would be elected for another four years, and I think Democrats need to get that in their head,” he continued.

Former Trump aide Steven Cheung tweeted the clip, adding, “When even @TheDemocrats doubt their own chances of beating @realDonaldTrump, you know 2020 will bring 4 MORE YEARS. #Trump2020.”

Looks like even CNN is trying to wake up democrats.

Trump has a strong record of achievements to run on, democrats appear to be bitter and reluctant to actually help Americans.

How will the DNC respond? I don't think we will see a change.

Ignore Trumps achievements at your own peril.

You saw the rally and you know what even dems are saying.

    • Imposed tariffs on foreign steel and aluminum to protect our national security.
    • Imposed tariffs on China in response to China’s forced technology transfer, intellectual property theft, and their chronically abusive trade practices.
    • Net exports are on track to increase by $59 billion this year.
    • Improved vetting and screening for refugees, and switched focus to overseas resettlement.
    • We have begun BUILDING THE WALL. Republicans want STRONG BORDERS and NO CRIME. Democrats want OPEN BORDERS which equals MASSIVE CRIME.

Not voting or voting third party isn't a vote for Trump. It's no vote at all or a vote probably against both major party candidates or at least a vote for the third party candidate. I get tired of hearing this, so much I must respond. I voted against both candidates in 2016, Trump supporters said my vote was for Clinton, Clinton supporters said my vote was for Trump. It can't be both. My vote was against both Trump and Clinton, it is that simple.

In 2020, the same applies. If one stays home, Trump's tally won't go up by one if staying home was a vote for Trump, it would. It also isn't a vote for whomever the Democratic nominee is. A vote for a third party candidate isn't a vote for Trump either nor is it a vote for the Democrat. Most likely it was a voted against both major party candidates.

You want more votes, nominate a decent candidate not as disliked by America as a whole as Trump was/is. Candidates matter, especially to independents. History shows Republicans and Democrats will vote for their party's candidates no matter whom it is. Independents on the other hand are all over the place. They can go for the democrats one election, go for the Republicans the next. Sometimes with huge swings.

    Here's their history from 2006 through 2018

2006 independents voted Democratic by a margin of 57-39 over Republicans with 4% voting third party.

2008 independents voted for Obama by a 52-44 margin over McCain. Independents voted 52-45 for Democratic congressional candidates..

2010 independents voted 56-37 Republican over Democrat with 7% voting third party.

2012 independents voted for Romney by a 51-48 margin, close to a wash. Independents voted 50-49 for Republican congressional candidates.

2014 independents voted 54-42 for Republican congressional candidates.

2016 Independents voted for Trump 46-42 with 12% voting third party. In congressional election independents voted Republican 51-47.

2018 Independents voted for the Democratic congressional candidates by a 54-42 margin with 4% voting third party.

As for me, I know I won't be voting for Trump in 2020. But that doesn't mean I'll be voting democratic either. That all depends on whom the Democrat's nominate. Remember, candidates matter. Forget that lesson from 2016 and Trump may indeed have another four years.

Unless you rig the election. Some Democrat themselves are starting realize there isn't among the current democrat candidates who can beat Trump. The DNC screwed the pooch in '16 with HRC and they're going to do it again in '20

Granted you can't see what will come out of right field. But, based off what the media is pushing, its going to be down to Biden, Bernne and EW. There seems to be a new push to get EW out there through. I suspect that the DNC is getting nervious about Biden and a) his hz of touching people and b) his gaffs.

If they abstain from voting entirely? Yes.

If they vote 3rd party? Not how that works

I hate to say, the strongest candidate the dems have is Kamala Harris. She is a nasty and unpleasant person but she is formidable. The candidates that are ahead of her in the polls are all too weak or carry too much baggage to beat Trump. The DNC should go with Harris.

    I don't think she's formidable at all.

She was a crap AG in california and she's been a crap candidate so far.

She seems content adopting Bernie stances until he takes heat, then she says amorphous crap like "its time to consider a discussion".

She even staged her mic being grabbed away by a "militant vegan", its all fail.

Think of her more like a skanky Beto.

None of them. Democrats were always known for failing to develop their younger "stars".

But thats not why the talent pool is gone-its gone because of Obamacare.

Obama didn't just leave the whitehouse-he salted the fields behind him for future dems.
