You seem to understand very little about shutting down a state, it cannot be done without just cause, which DeSantis did not have until the issuance of the guidance by DHS?

Try understanding basic government before posting anymore BS.

BS. It was the result of the DHS guidance, no one would shut down a state based on the tone of another person's voice.

Considering it is based on CNN lower thirds, a network with zero credibility, I would say yes, it's flamebait.

It doesn’t matter. The plants were open. And there were workers inside.

    It’s up to the governors.

That isn't even remotely close to accurate, especially in light of the fact that other States had already shut down before DeSantis issued the order for Florida.

    Trump "has absolute authority."

But doesn't it suck when Trump directly undercuts your argument so immediately and so quickly?

Your argument is that it doesn't matter how the virus entered into the factory or whether the virus spread more easily after the outbreak within the factory

In Florida it is quite accurate, the Governor needs just cause to order a shutdown, either from the U.S. or from the Florida Legislature, you don't seem to understand anything about our state laws and regulations.

Get educated on the local laws before posting anymore BS about Florida.

A global pandemic caused by a virus which had seen several thousands of confirmed cases in your State was not just cause? That's your argument?

He left it up to the localities, because they are greatly depended on tourists for income. Most places shut down but some cities run by dems on the coast

He said he has absolute authority and then he taunted specific states to open up before they even saw a peak in the cases.

There are several States which do not have a statewide lock down order in place - are there any Democratic Governors amongst that bunch?

Not that I am aware of, not every state is the same nor has the same needs. That’s why the president was wise to allow the Govs to make their own decisions in terms of that

At the time it had not been officially declared by anyone in the U.S. other than media as such.

Do you really lack a understanding of such?

"It had not been officially declared by anyone in the US?" Trump said on March 22nd that he always knew it was going to be a pandemic.

The WHO declared it a global pandemic on March 11th.

DeSantis issued his stay at home order on April 1st.

Florida had hit 1000 confirmed cases more than a week prior.

Wait...wise to let them make their own decisions?

The man - despite claiming that he has absolute authority - literally had zero authority to make the Governors do anything.

I guess you fail to understand what declared in the U.S. means, the discredited WHO is not in the U.S., Trump's words mean nothing, unless pushed out as a Presidential declaration to the Governors, by Trump or an agency such as DHS.

Please go back to basic civics 101 and get a clue, before posting more BS about Florida and how little you understand how government works..

What's circular about that post? Trump did not have the authority he claimed to have, so it is impossible for him to be "wise" to delegate an authority that he does not have.
