http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/4579420?ncid=txtlnkushpmg00000037&ir=Politics What do you guys think of what the CNN head said about Fox? I believe he's absolutely right. I never liked watching Fox. The quality difference bothers me. Plus I like when my news tells the truth.
From your link... "Zucker said CNN had several other new non-fiction series in the works. In March, CNN will premiere "Death Row Stories," a crime series produced by Robert Redford and Alex Gibney and narrated by Susan Sarandon. CNN is also continuing its concentration on the 1960s with a 10-part series beginning in May. Later this month, CNN will air "The Sixties: The British Invasion" in the days before the 50th anniversary of the Beatles performing on "The Ed Sullivan Show." Who are they trying to appeal to, geriatric hippies?
About the only people that watch CNN. FNC blows away CNN in the ratings in all time slots, because people are tired of the liberal spin the MSM puts on the news.
Ratings: http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/01/02/cable-news-ratings-2013/4296411/ Not only are they doing bad, they're doing worse than they've done in 20 years. Here is a tissue to wipe away the tears.
AIles is right. CNN has been out of the news business for years, and they are finally admitting it by adding cooking and nature shows. Zucker even admits the CNN non-news shows get the best ratings. Good riddance, one "progressive" propaganda machine down.
And "new" and "progressive" propaganda machines are on the rise because of this... (because when people distrust the MSM, they move to "alternative" media)
