Seems like not a day goes by that CNN is not caught in another lie. Here's today's.

CNN has quietly walked back more of their “bombshell” reporting on the Trump-Russia collusion narrative, and this time it’s a story relating to Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ security clearance forms.

In May, CNN reported that Sessions had failed to disclose meetings he had with the Russian ambassador when he was a senator. Justice Department officials told CNN that Sessions had not listed those meetings on a security clearance form, even though the form says to list “any contact” with the “foreign government” or its “representatives” in the past seven years.

CNN framed the non-disclosures as more evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trump team, writing, “He has come under withering criticism from Democrats following revelations that he did not disclose the same contacts with Kislyak during his Senate confirmation hearings earlier this year.”

At the time, Sessions said he was told by the FBI not to list meetings “connected with his Senate activities,” but CNN’s legal expert denied those claims."

It's part of their strategy at this point, they throw out the trash and come back and retract their stories at a later date. Meanwhile people on the go take the story digest it and then don't see the retraction. The media back in the old days did the same crap.

The above is why i will rarely post links. I find little point in it because people only want to hear from sources that back their home team. We only want to hear that which we want to believe.

They are the propaganda horn for the Deep State that is trying to effect a Coup against the American People.

Your Daily Reminder That Mueller's "Investigation" is Doomed

At this point, Robert Mueller could find authentic video of Vladamir Putin whispering sweet communist nothings into the ear of Donald Trump while both were shirtless and putting a pin into a Hillary Clinton voodoo doll, and half of America would believe that Trump was being set up by a malicious, politicized Special Counsel. Mueller’s credibility has been lost and the latest revelation cements it:

A senior Justice Department official demoted last week for concealing his meetings with the men behind the anti-Trump “dossier” had even closer ties to Fusion GPS, the firm responsible for the incendiary document, than have been disclosed. The official’s wife worked for Fusion GPS during the 2016 election.

Investigators for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) confirmed that Nellie H. Ohr, wife of the demoted official, Bruce G. Ohr, worked for the opposition research firm last year. Her published works available online reveals Mrs. Ohr has written extensively on Russia-related subjects. HPSCI staff confirmed that she was paid by Fusion GPS through the summer and fall of 2016.

Mueller’s team, including Mueller himself, is a who’s who of lefty politicos. They went to Hillary’s victory rally (that didn’t happen.) They are married to or sleeping with lefties with a shared and stated hatred of Donald Trump. They are married to people working for Fusion GPS who paid for the Steele dossier at the behest of the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC.

The Trump voter is supposed to watch this investigation and have faith in the process. As information comes out about the myriad conflicts of interest within the investigative team, obvious leaks spring up in places like CNN fraught with anti-Trump team innuendo. They garner eye rolls from everyone not named Louise Mench.

If the Mueller investigation has accomplished one thing, it’s been to reveal how incestuous The Swamp really is. Between marriage, affairs, money exchanging hands, the FBI, DOJ, Fusion GPS, the media, and Mueller’s team work so well together because they are literally together. They’re together in their political point of view. They’re together in their belief that Trump is evil. They were together in their attempt to be With Her.

This approach is backfiring. Even the key players are contemplating that maybe it was a mistake to use their power and authority to undermine a possible future president. Ex-CIA chief Michael Morell says this to Politico:

But I was so deeply concerned about what a Trump presidency might look like from a national security perspective, and believed that there was such a gap between Secretary Clinton and Donald Trump with regard to how well they would protect the country, that I thought it extremely important to come out and say that.

But I don’t think I fully thought through the implications.

And one of the ways I’ve thought about that, Susan, is—okay, how did Donald Trump see this? Right? And from—it’s very important—one of the things we do as intelligence analysts is make sure that our guy—the president—understands the other guy. Right?

So, let’s put ourselves here in Donald Trump’s shoes. So, what does he see? Right? He sees a former director of CIA and a former director of NSA, Mike Hayden, who I have the greatest respect for, criticizing him and his policies. Right? And he could rightfully have said, “Huh, what’s going on with these intelligence guys?” Right?

    Glasser: It embroiders his narrative.

Morell: Exactly. And then he sees a former acting director and deputy director of CIA criticizing him and endorsing his opponent. And then he gets his first intelligence briefing, after becoming the Republican nominee, and within 24 to 48 hours, there are leaks out of that that are critical of him and his then-national security advisor, Mike Flynn.

And so, this stuff starts to build, right? And he must have said to himself, “What is it with these intelligence guys? Are they political?” The current director at the time, John Brennan, during the campaign occasionally would push back on things that Donald Trump had said.

So, when Trump talked about the Iran nuclear deal being the worst deal in the history of American diplomacy, and he was going to tear it up on the first day—John Brennan came out publicly and said, “That would be an act of folly.” So, he sees current sitting director pushing back on him. Right?

Then he becomes president, and he’s supposed to be getting a daily brief from the moment he becomes the president-elect. Right? And he doesn’t. And within a few days, there’s leaks about how he’s not taking his briefing. So, he must have thought—right?—that, “Who are these guys? Are these guys out to get me? Is this a political organization? Can I think about them as a political organization when I become president?”

So, I think there was a significant downside to those of us who became political in that moment. So, if I could have thought of that, would I have ended up in a different place? I don’t know. But it’s something I didn’t think about.

A top level spy didn’t think about the implications of monkeying with an election, the American election. He didn’t think through how the possible President would interpret his behavior? Seriously? What mistakes did this man make in his spy activities overseas if he didn’t consider the consequences of his actions here?

Here’s the thing about Mike Morell and the Fusion GPS, CIA, FBI, DOJ crew: They never thought Donald Trump would be elected. Spouting off in the New York Times had no downside because Hillary would win. Coming out in the New York Times could only help someone like Mike Morell with his future ambitions.

He wasn’t alone. James Comey played both sides against the middle. Sally Yate’s minions at Justice acted with impunity, meeting with Fusion GPS without regard to appearances or decency because they knew Hillary would win. Their behavior would win them promotions and awards. Every one of these toadies all the way to Peter Strzok at the FBI knew that Hillary would be the next president and greasing the skids would help her win more easily, and therefore, help their own career prospects.

Mueller assembled this compromised team of Trump-haters. He knew who they were because they travelled in the same circles with the same world view. Every charge he manufactures/discovers will be viewed through the lens of bias and prejudice.

It’s over. The Swamp charade is over. Mueller’s credibility is gone. What a disappointing embarrassment.

And don't forget, the dossier consisted of claims fed to Steele and Fusion GPS BY RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. There is more evidence of Hillary campaign collusion with Russia, than there is evidence of Trump campaign colluding with Russians.

Isn't it interesting that pretty much EVERYTHING that the Left has so far claimed to be smoking gun material has turned out to be . . . fake . . . news? That should begin to make even leftists start to . . . think; but it won't

Exactly, and if Mueller attempts to conceal this, he needs to be indicted for Obstruction.

We also need to know more about the Waiver that was signed off on, that allowed Mueller to handle the investigation. It may have been a waiver for Conflict of Interest.
