I'm looking forward to seeing if Texas can finally get out of quarterback hell!

Anybody else excited about the first spring practices?

Surely we've got some college football in here?!

I am looking forward to seeing Georgia's G-day game today. Nick Chubbs won't be playing, but there are others to watch. Not to mention a first look at the new coach, and a freshman quarterback that will be the future of the program. Could be a really interesting year.

Yeah, Georgia was a real wildcard last year. I honestly couldn't figure them out, but I'm thinking they will be pretty good this year--you've certainly got the talent for it. I wasn't aware you guys were also trotting out a freshman.

I think Georgia could contend for the Eastern division, but I'm not sure I see you guys beating Bama in a conference title game. Arky might be pretty damn good as well. How many wins do you think you'll get this year?

We've got a stud freshman named Shane Buchele who is an elite passer but is relatively small. He should be splitting reps with Tyrone Swoopes (*shudders*)

Watched parts of the Alabama spring game. Not much scoring, of course.

Looks like the legendary 'Bama Defense will again be a force to reckon with next fall.

I'm so damn sick of Bama' dominating college football. Ever since Colt McCoy got injured in the 2010 national title game, they've just dominated like crazy. That was the beginning of our downfall and the rise of Bama'. I'm hoping Charlie Strong can get us back to 10+ wins per season. If he can do that, we should be able to compete with Bama' for recruits. Texas is perfectly positioned to dominate CFB, but we need a damn QB and good coaching first.

I'm a 'Bama fan born and bred, but I would have to say Texas is my second favorite time every since I was a kid and watched Tommy Nobis. He was the best college player in history in my opinion and should be in the NFL Hall of Fame.

I thought Texas made a huge mistake when they didn't join the SEC. It sure seemed to help Texas A & M and Missouri.

Bamas' a damn good team to root for, that's for sure. I've heard a lot about Nobis, but I never got to see him play. I'm a huge Ricky and Colt McCoy fan.

We should have joined the SEC, but our BMD's didn't want it. I think we will eventually end up in the B1G. The Big 12 has some good teams, but we just don't have enough of a footprint and we only have two blue-blood programs now--Texas and OU.

Nobis was one serious dude on the football field. Played both offense and defense. He won pretty much every award possible except the Heisman, which never goes to a LineBacker/Offensive Guard.

1st Atlanta Falcon player, EVER. And although the record isn't official, he still has the most tackles ever recorded in a single season for an NFL player. In his rookie year, he had 294. Of course, was the only player on the Falcons making a tackle because the rest of the team truly sucked.

Even Larry Csonka said "I'd rather play against Dick Butkus than Nobis".

It sounds like he was incredible. We've got an elite linebacker right now who could go down as one of the best ever, but I doubt he'll match Nobis.

Name is Malik Jefferson. Second highest SPARQ testing ever. Is 6'3, 240 and ran a 4.3 in high school. The guy is an insane athlete. He's a sophomore now, and I think he'll go on to be the best in the country before he declares for the draft.
