I was just replying to his question about what rules other threads break. But yes, on occasion, I have reported threads that I feel break this rule (in a way that is disrespectful to readers and detrimental to the forum) and when I was a moderator, I would enact that rule (when correctly reported by others). In this case, I have not reported the thread (since it does not break the word of the rule).

Perhaps, then, if these megachurches were practicing the Christian values of which they speak they would help out less fortunate churches. Afterall, it isn't a competition. They are all Christians.

Look, those humungous megachurches are not going to get much sympathy from most people, but what about the smaller ones?
The smaller ones may not get as much "publicity", but the great majority of people who go to churches go to smaller churches, not the mega-sized ones.

We are in total agreement. It is the small community churches that will be hurt most. But it doesn't negate my comment - let's see how 'Christian' these mega churches are...how many will help out the small churches?

So, it's time to shut down religious institutions. After all, the people of the world that believe in God are mostly gullible and deplorables. I'm sure letting the secularist socialists run the world will not ever extort nor exploit their people for money or power.

No need. If not enough people care to support them they will wither and die. If people care enough they will survive.
Socialism is not the subject here, financially struggling churches is.
Not sure why you think christians are mostly deplorable. Indoctrinated and misinformed maybe but no worse than average atheist morally.
