America doesn't come from any particular religion or sect. It is based on and born from the concept that there is one God overall, from whom comes our lives, our freedom, and equality of rights in freedom. From the greatest to the least among us, regardless our personal religions and beliefs, we are all endowed with the same rights. This is because we all come from the same God. And this is his love for us, more than judgment. So no matter ones religion or sense of reason and fairness as the epitome, it must be concluded that this is a good thing and a settling of peace upon us.

All rights spring from God who did nothing to actually establish them.
The concept of having rights at all is from enlightenment philosophy and the establishment of those rights was from people pushing to establish those rights.
Not only do they not come from God, the Bible was actively used to combat liberal philosophy and the battle continues on to this day with religion being emphatically against the principles of enlightenment ideologies.
If it were up to Christianity we would still be burning witches at the stake and using our slaves to load the firewood.
