"Enough! Donald Trump should not be President. He should withdraw.
As a Republican, I hope to support someone who has the dignity and stature to run for the highest office in the greatest democracy on earth."

    - Condoleezza Rice, Facebook, 8 October, 2016.

Apparently, neither "dignity" nor "stature" would seem to be requisites to gain the Republican nomination - just a big pile of ill-gotten cash from tax-dodging and a loud mouth!

Oh well, unless Republicans can find a way to change horses midstream, it looks like Hillary is a shoo-in for the White House.

Such a shame it never came down to Condi VS Hillary - the great presidential contest that would have been worthy of the highest office of the greatest democracy on Earth. If it did, if it ever does, it won't be Hillary I will be supporting then ...

    Big Fat Zero Trump

CLINTON: "So you’ve got to ask yourself, why won’t he release his tax returns?
... maybe he doesn’t want the American people, all of you watching tonight, to know that he’s paid nothing in federal taxes, because the only years that anybody’s ever seen were a couple of years when he had to turn them over to state authorities when he was trying to get a casino license, and they showed he didn’t pay any federal income tax."

    TRUMP: "That makes me smart."

CLINTON: "So if he’s paid zero, that means zero for troops, zero for vets, zero for schools or health.

And I think probably he’s not all that enthusiastic about having the rest of our country see what the real reasons are, because it must be something really important, even terrible, that he’s trying to hide.

TRUMP: "... release my tax returns — against my lawyer’s wishes"

Well Trump's lawyer must think that Trump has something to hide, that his tax-release could be used as evidence of Trump's "smart" / illegal tax evasion.

So even though Trump may have illegally evaded taxes due to the Federal Government, he still dares to run for president so that he can spend honest Americans' federal taxes?

Shouldn't the Republican Party have weeded out this big fat zero Trump in the primaries?

UM...... you helped create all this Condi. Own it!

Maybe if you would not have shoved neocons and RINOs down conservatives throats for the last oh um.....28 YEARS.....we would not have had to support a Trump but you leave them no choice.

Republicans had their chance for a "Good guy" with Ron Paul and we watched how that panned out.

This is all you and your clan. Trump is the wrecking ball.

The way Bernie was "weeded out," you mean? Trump was (sadly) the majority choice. It's not up to our political parties to dictate anything to us, including who our choices are for presidential candidates.

Trump hit like a perfect storm. He and his big mouth showed up when people were quite fed up with the "status quo," just as Bernie did and likewise enjoyed a measure of success because of that. He came out of nowhere and people didn't know quite what to make of him as a politician - he had no record to point to, for better or worse, and he came on strong saying a lot of things that people were feeling and wanted a politician to stand up and say. It was fresh then and no one was really looking for details and substance yet.

Now Trump is like that formerly perfect storm after spending a few days inland... He's given what he had to give and lost his momentum. In more real terms, his message is now old and he has revealed his glaring flaws as a person and a potential politician. His sloganeering isn't cutting it, his lack of real, workable solutions is widely apparent, and the negative aspects of his person and his past are now widely exposed and known. I think that pretty much the only votes he can expect to win are party line votes and votes against Hillary and the Democrats; few will actually be voting for Trump because they think he's competent to do the job, at least if they're honest with us and themselves about it.
