The law did not require Trump to do what he did. His admin started this policy, then lied and said it started under Obama, then took credit for getting rid of it after they were pressured to get rid of it, and is still actually doing it anyway, and is arguing that it is a good idea. The only constant is the lies.

 

Our laws also state that must be done through legal port of entry. The asylum loophole is being abused.

 

Actually, no, they can still apply for asylum regardless of how they got here . . . plus we still locked people up when they came through a legal port of entry. This is insanity.
