Congratulations to a true American hero! Active Army ranger Colton Smith has won his debut into the UFC and has earned a 6 figure contract with the UFC after defeating the canadian Mike Ricci. Colton has served in the war in Iraq and dedicates every one of his fights to the men and women fighting overseas. Congrats Colton, you deserve it.

Colton was too big and too big and too good grappler for Mike Ricci. However, I don't know how well he'll do in the UFC, he has no standup or finishing ability on the ground.

yeah hes a wrestler not even a fighter at all. i bet dana white is pissed off that he won the ultimate fighter since hes such an unentertaining all he does is wrestle the whole time.

idk if you watched last season... but colton reminds me of a much better version of bryan caraway

yeah, congrats to Colton, but "hero"?

I wouldn't use that word to describe anyone that is alive or not terribly wounded in service.

That's what I was thinking. I suppose he could hold his own in the lower levels of his division, but from looking at his game I believe any top 10 guy in his division would put a hurtin' on him.
