    Sanctions are an act of war.

    Sanctions are stupidity in action.

    Example, Sanctions hurt people, not governments.
    In the case of Russia as well as other nations, it hardens the people behind their gov't.
    Resisting Yankee Imperialism aka American Exceptionalism.

    Sanctions don't just hurt the people of the targeted nation, but also the people who sell to the sanctioned nations. Example - Southern European farmers no longer allowed to sell their produce to Russia.

    Stop the sanctions.

    CMIIW, but isn't this kind of EXTRAORDINARY public handcuffing of the President by his own party's majorities in congress unique in American political history?

    It is only going to get uglier from here.

    Is it just me or does it Seem like trumpettes have selective memories when it comes to "America First", insisting in their intransigent ignorance that its all a hoax?

    I agree that the sanctions have been hitting Russia's wallet. The problem is that it has also been hitting Europe's wallet.

    France and Germany are speaking out against this latest round of sanctions. Without the EU on board this latest round of sanctions are nor only worthless but counter productive and harmful.

    It is sad commentary on the intelligence of the Senate when there were only 2 dissenters. Congress has turned into a major clown show.

    It's called "a sarcasm full of bile". Your country, your government, your potential constitutional crisis. We already had two, one in Union and one on our own, disliked both, yet pretty much survived both never the less. Still - not a thing I'd wish to anybody. Hence - the disappointment and sarcastic comments when people praise that mess that currently goes on in your politics.

    I'd say "please, keep me out of this conversation" - but constant blame of this mess on my people and continuous increase of economic sanctions make that plea futile.


    In short: sorry you're going through that, don't get what is there to enjoy in having conflict of president and parlament, disturbed by your country continuously harming mine.
