    I've got photos on my wall with Me and Santa at the North Pole and Santa's feet in my Chimney while Rudolph is peeking in the window.


    Kept my kids believing till they were nearing double digits and I still use them on my grandkids, nieces and nephews.

    How long do you suppose they can keep "conservatives" believing this?

    Dude ... obviously it's Really Really Really important to you.

    I don't even start watching until well into the first half, so I personally couldn't give a crap who picks their nose during National anthem and I have no CONTROL over them.

    But you can bet your life I won't be genuflecting!

    You hate the message so rather than discuss the message you demonize the messengers.

    I think the large majority stance on this is simply the wish to "keep it out of the NFL"

    I think most of the hyper partisan stuff is a smaller % from people I have spoken with

    I think the problem is this; the people or individual who started this protest is not going to allow ANYONE to Hi-Jack it's meaning of the Protest to further their own agenda.

    In other words ... the Protesting will continue and no amount standing to the anthem will satisfy people who have a problem with individuals or groups protesting Police Brutality ... especially if the brutality is against their favorite punching bag.

    WRONG.....

    I personally think the whole police brutality thing has been blown completely out of proportion, but I respect the right of anyone who wants to protest against it.

    But not while the anthem is playing. Any protest for any reason during the anthem disrespects our flag and country. It's not that complicated.

    If you made an honest mistake here, my apologies for coming on a little strong. I watched the beginning of the game on TV, and watched the video after the fact carefully. There was no doubt that the vast majority of fans were respectful and honored the anthem as patriotic citizens. The players could learn a lot simply by turning around and watching their fans.

    Many leftists here use denial of reality as their primary defense. It gets tiresome dealing with the endless dishonestly.

    The Colin thing is just being held up by partisans, but you are in the minority when you call loving your country through representing your flag as "Flag Worshiping".

    My neighborhood is DEF not a Republican bastion, but there are at least 7 American Flags on my block

    I personally don't care what people think and the nest time I go to a Game I'm going to do whatever the hell I want to do ... and no one going to make me Stand, Sit or stand in line for a Beer if I want.

    You've just defined the essence of being a progressive leftist. No respect for national symbols and ceremonies that represent love of country, and the hell bent desire to do as you please regardless of manners and other standards of decent behavior recognized by most sane people.

    Given that you don't care what people think, and you're going to do whatever the hell you want to do, who would you expect to respect you?? Maybe that's the basis for your anger and the appearance of being unhinged....

    You should be on your knees every day giving thanks that you hit the lotto of being born in the USA. You have opportunities offered few others in the world because of what our country represents, and because of the thousands of military personnel who gave their lives to protect it. Given this, if your position is that "no one is going to make me stand", your level of ungratefulness is offensive to a level that can't be described.

    You and the knelling players have a lot in common.....
