Do you support these other forms of "marriage" that have also been around for thousands of years:

One man one woman - Monogamy
This marriage "type" is what most people are familiar with. Genesis 2:24

One man, many women - Polygamy
Jacob had 2 wives and fathered 13 children. This is rarely spoken about when the subject of marriage and the bible is debated! Genesis 4:19

    Levirate - Brother-in-law marriage
If a woman were to become a widow and had not given birth to a son, she would be required to have "relations" with her brother-in-law. Genesis 38:6-10

A man, a woman, and HER property
If a woman was "married" and infertile, she could giver her property, her slave, to her husband as a wife. Genesis 16

A man, one or more wives, and some concubines
A man could have one or more wives and any number of concubines. In modern terms, one man, his wive(s), and one or more mistresses. Genesis 20:10

A soldier and his female captive
As with many wars, women become the property of the victor. And that is how it was in biblical times. Female captives were forced to submit to their male captors, usually by force, RAPE. Deuteronomy 21:11-14 and Numbers 31:1-18

A male rapist and the victim
If a man raped a woman and she wasn't married, she would be forced to marry him. A man could rape any woman that he liked and they would be considered married. The draw back? For the man OF COURSE! He could not divorce her!! Deuteronomy 22:28-29

A male and a female slave
An owner could order a female slave to "marry" a male slave without any input from the female. The consumation of this "union" usually involved rape. Exodus 21:4

Alas, everything you say is wrong.

Only deceivers with loathsome diseases would ever see a corporation as a person.

Oh yes, a corporation is definitely a scheme. Nothing but.

And I had not denied being mentally defective because you had not, until now, accused me of it. Of course I deny this ridiculous insinuation. NOW will you deny that you have a financial incentive to shill for one or more corporations?

I believe we need religious morals tests more than we need drug tests to implement purely religious laws.

Seeing I never said a corporation is a person, I naturally find the observation uninteresting.

I marvel that people are sanguine about posting, even anonymously, such glaring imbecilities.

    And I still haven't, obviously.

No, because it amuses me not to.

    This is easy (for me).

The issue should not be determined by Constitutional amendment, unless the constitution is of a State.

B-b-b-b-but scherado, can you support that with anything, anything at all?

Eeeh. “Must I have my reasons always at hand. Must I wear them on my sleeve? My reasons for this or against that may have been received long ago, over many years and, like a bird, many a reason has fluttered away.” [Borrowed from Frederic Nietzsche.]

It doesn't matter; our federal Constitution and Ten Amendments are more supreme than Any commandments of Religion, simply because our Founding Fathers said so in Article 6.

Yes, and was defined in the Bible, as show above.

    - - - Updated - - -

The Constitution has more than ten amendments, but I totally agree that is the supreme law of the land. Where does that document define marriage as between one man and one woman, though?

It is now 2015 and any plan of a Constitutional Amendment to ban Same-Sex Marriage was destroyed on June 26, 2015 when the U.S. Supreme Court declared Same-Sex Marriage to be the law of the land.
