Who gives a flying (*)(*)(*)(*) what you call it? 'Carpet', 'saturation', 'area' are all nice deviations from the basic fact of the indiscriminate dropping of bombs.
It makes a huge difference that someone doesn't even know the definitions of what they see as a crime they are accusing someone of.
I don't need to see the results of 'collateral damage' to understand that its a polite, media-friendly euphemism for 'we screwed up'.
Some level of collateral damage is fully acceptable and expected. And it is not morally wrong. Every human endeavour has a cost in civilian lives.
