    No kidding, I read that the ratings for the season finale were the lowest they’ve been in a long time. Not good. The upside to that is season 9 is supposed to have a reboot sorta feel to it, according to the production staff.

    Also, as far as American Idol goes, I watched it during its peak years on Fox, namely between seasons 2 and 6. To this day I still think Chris Daughtry getting voted off was the most shocking thing I’ve seen there.

    Simon Cowell was THE act people wanted to see. His brutal opinions were entertaining. His sidekicks were also kinda good. This new crew lacks the personality that judges needed to have as the glue to the show. Frankly the changed format sucks. It is no longer about a singing contest.

    This is Sanders second time on the show. I'm guessing Perry felt bad and didn't want to let him go? So much of this is subjective. This show is no longer about singing talent. It's all about the "entertainment."

    Oh. I was referring to The Walking Dead in that quote.

    But yes I do miss the old crew of Simon, Paula and Randy, it all just felt genuine back then.
