convicted for a crime that does not exist

    At least they wern`t the lowest form of life on the planet, traitors to their own country.

    That`s for the Iraqis to decide. However, it would be easier for the Iraqis to execute them for crimes that are more important to them. For instance, in Iraq, they could be stoned to death for something like, not tying their shoe laces in the correct, regulated, islamic way.

    We were talking of Hicks - why was he not charged?

    This was down to the Howard Government - if we had the laws we could have brought him home to Australia and charged him here.

    I was responding to another post re the Iraqis. As for Hicks, my care meter is on zero, and it`s needle isn`t even flickering. I`m more concerned that someone might have been lumbered with an unjustified parking ticket today.

    maybe we need to invent a new crime, that of "perjury against the People" with the authority arising from Article 4, Section 2.

    The best thing about politics in Australia is that if you actually ask the average Joe we all hate the two parties more than anything. It's the one thing we all agree on haha
