As a comparison, SKorea was actually testing 10,000 patients a day a few weeks ago - at a time when they had tested more than 200,000 South Koreans. And, they had offered America help - which we declined.

To each there own but the bottom line they going to treat it like the flu and if you get real bad it'll be like pneumonia all things you risk every year. More than likely you're going to have cold symptoms and I for one hope you don't get it. S. Korea's test had a 30% failure rate and that's not example, I would rather it be right and fda approved.

As far as deaths, doesn't the regular influenza also cause death? So a person dies, before they died they had fever chills etc. Why wouldn't the cause of death been labeled influenza? Because in December none of our doctors knew about Corona and since Corona and Influenza share many similar manifestations couldn't those deaths been improperly labeled influenza?

At that time, OUR tests had 100% failure rate. And, South Korea has been far more successful at flattening the curve than we have been.

We're having medical staff drop out due to exposuer. We're running out of beds. We don't have enough ventilators (with Trump saying the states are on their own on that). Though "at risk" groups are hit the hardest, it does not mean that others don't end up in the hospital.

CDC experts say comparing to flu is an absolutely horrible idea. One primary reason is that it does not help make the important decisions that need to be made.

I see all your issues with the Trump administrations handling of this. They may be legitimate but here's my question to you.....

Trump will be gone either in November or in 4 years while the Chinese government will be able to sit on future viruses again and not tell the rest of us until it's too late so what do we do about China?

What's the likely hood that a foreign person flew to China contracted the disease flew home and was misdiagnosed with influenza as CDC Dr. Redfield says has happened?

I've been saying it as well. It's not rocket science, but some people prefer to panic and spread doom and gloom than engage their common sense and that's assuming they even have any.
