Don’t smoke, don’t drink alcohol, don’t eat animal fats, don’t be overweight, exercise, use sunscreen....we have all heard this and should know by now.

My father and aunt did none of those things. They stayed out of the sun and were exercise conscious and diet conscious.

July is getting to be more like March which means We're back to square one. I just can't believe that there are those out there that are not complying to the rules and President Trump leads up into the fantasy of wishful thinking and state Governors or most of them are the ones that are making the rules and trying to enforce to make us safe and well. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Dr. Anthony Fauci are trying to get us the people to follow the guidelines which worked before and it can work again. We can all look forward to better days again.

You're right seniors and I mean all need it even those in assisted living, nursing homes, and all over the place. Things to be done before they get worse.

I’m sorry but this virus is going to get you one way or the other. No matter how hard you hide.

Just get ready to be sick or not at all and you will be fine!

    simple...

Does public opinion support yours? If there's a survey I would like to see it.

Public opinion means nothing to me. Read my profile. Only what is the truth matters to me. Find your own and stick by it. That’s what integrity means.

Nope, as other countries have shown, the virus can be suppressed, to the point that infection risk is rather slim.

    • National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci on Friday praised New York for its handling of the coronavirus pandemic, saying the state did it "correctly."
    • "We know that, when you do it properly, you bring down those cases. We have done it. We have done it in New York," Fauci said in an interview on "PBS NewsHour."
    • Gov. Andrew Cuomo instituted some of the strictest reopening requirements in the country, insisting that stay-at-home orders remain in place and many businesses remain closed far longer than other states.

    Don't confuse subjective with objective.
Subjective truth is not confirmed by science & depends on one's opinion or belief & may be true or false, whereas objective truth is confirmed by science & universally accepted.

My family history has shown that I would rather die of this virus than cancer. It is far more more merciful than cancer. Millennials don’t get it! My personal experience does!!!!

Get a good bottle of straight bourbon, a couple of good cigars and some fentanyl.

I wouldn't bet on it. If a lot of us try to do the right things and keep on doing it constantly, there is that chance that we'll get through this pandemic. Keep the faith.

We will get through it no matter what we do. It’s just not that big a threat.

The Illinois Public Health Department reported 965 new Covid-19 cases Sunday and six new deaths.
Illinois now has 161,575 total confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus and 7,295 across all 102 counties.

    • The number of new Covid-19 cases reported to the World Health Organization rose by 259,848 in 24 hours, the WHO said on Saturday. This is the largest single-day increase since the pandemic began.
    • The Australian state of Victoria is making mask-wearing mandatory, as cases there spike. "We are going to be wearing masks in Victoria, and potentially in other parts of the country for a very long time," the state premier said.
    • An unpublished report prepared for the White House coronavirus task force recommends 18 states — including hard-hit California and Florida — roll back reopening measures.
    • The virus continues to rage through Latin America, with Brazil surpassing 2 million cases and Colombia reporting a record number of new cases for the second consecutive day.

On the bright side MLB is back, but is interesting to note that the Toronto Blue-jays are going to be playing their games in Buffalo. Canada doesn't want a bunch of diseased Americans bringing the virus to them.

Those countries have national plans. We have Trump. He is right one day it will disappear. As a doctor once told me eventually all bleeding stops.

Does anyone know what numbers Trump is using to say we have the lowest mortality rate?

Fair enough. Our football teams are living in Queensland at present so that they aren’t bringing the plague from Victoria, to interstate matches

LOL. I see now what Brix did to him. And shame on her.
The number he is using is current deaths over number of cases.
This of course forgets about all the people that have been pouring into the hospitals in the last few weeks but haven't had time to die.
This makes New York look bad even though they haven't had many deaths in the last few weeks. Florida, by contrast, is great because all those people in the hospital are just beginning to die.
