Well would tell the people of Key West that they don't have to wear the masks and risk their health by caching the virus? Fining $500 for not wearing the mask is a law there and they have to obey the laws or get sick and die. Maybe you think like South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem who doesn't like Donald Trump didn't think the masks were necessary and Trump caught the virus and had to go to the hospital. No one in immune and not even you or I are immune if you know what I mean. Trump could get it again if he doesn't watch it. Key West has their rules in place and whether you think they're stupid or not, That's the law. and That's all I'm going to say about it.

According to your "physics", wearing a mask will collect billions of virus particles until you step into a store when then the mask filled with COVID into everyone everyone in a store is infected within 10 to 15 seconds!

Yet, at the same time, a mask allows viruses to penetrate the madk "without any problem"!

Man, COVID is magical! COVID passes right through viruses AND yet blocks viruses to dump COVID all at once when someone steps into the store.

(In seriously, 1 layer of thin cotton fibre is not particularly effective to stop a virus although better than nothing. But a glob of sneeze booger will be stopped pretty well by that, and that will make a big difference to reduce transmission!

As far as distribution goes.......Biden does have a plan. Trump does not and has as good as removed himself from anything pandemic.

 

It is actually very simple.
When an infected person is breathing into the mask then part of the viruses penetrates mask, but many of the viruses get accumulated inside the mask. Mask essentially become a reservoir of the viruses with small open faucets on the surface. When an infected person enters e.g. the store he/she is spreading viruses accumulated in the mask with every breath. That in turn increases concentration of viruses inside the store. The greater concentration of viruses the more probability that healthy people get infected.

I can understand why it is necessary to wear mask inside public places, but to make laws to force people to wear mask on the street is essentially to force people to get COVID-19

 

What would anyone tell the citizens of Key West, Florida that they didn't have to wear the masks. South Dakota Kristi Noem who is actually a ally of Trump would tell the Key West People that they don't have to.

How will viruses spread more with a mask than a person without a mask, where the naked viruses just go into other people without impediments from those pesky-old masks?

It sounds like this viral "faucet" in masks that collects the viruses outside and then blasts the hapless store shoppers as the cruel mask user walks in the store, invecting everyone in "20 or 30 seconds"!

Wow! So why aren't all the mask wearers in hospitals (who often have viruses including COVID) increases the concentration of viruses inside the rooms where our doctors and nurses go? All of us at hospitals from the moment of arrival at the site before we get out of the car until going home wear our masks. How does anyone survive!?

Just thinking the other night, I wondered how high the pile would be if we stacked all of the dead bodies from US Covid deaths.

We will have over 500,000 deaths before this is over. That means the pile would be nearly 100 miles high. Right now we ONLY have a 50-mile high pile of bodies.

Commercial passenger planes fly at about 6 or 7 miles high.
The space station is about 250 miles up. So it would reach almost half way to the space station.

What did trump jr say, the deaths amount to nothing? A 50 mile high pile of bodies is nothing.

 

Wonder if Don Jr attitude will change , since he too, has now been afflicted with the virus. Odds? Wouldn't bet on it.

Except that when a lockdown is mandated by law, they won't have a choice. We didn't have a choice. We broke the rules at our peril, and with a high chance of being caught. Police and military were everywhere, and if they didn't catch you your neighbours reported you.

 

Value judgements aside, this is why it must be MANDATORY. No one but the Japanese are going to do it voluntarily.
