My daughter got me to look at this video yesterday evening and
I must admit that I was seriously impressed.

Many of the points made in this video are ideas that I had not known
previously. I am somebody who believes in Old Earth plus Gap Theory........
but I admit that there may even be far more evidence for Young Earth Theory than
    I ever imagined.

I personally have believed in Theistic Evolutionary Theory that could well have had
dinosaurs living for millions of years before the creation of Adam and Eve.......
but I have to admit that I could be wrong???

    Theistic Evolutionary Theory

Here is a good explanation for the foundation of Old Earth plus a Gap Theory
as shown to a near death experiencer.

Yes, because there is no such thing as “Atheistic Evolutionary Theory”. That’s the lie you should be addressing (not that you will).

This nonsense belongs in the Conspiracy forums.

Evolution is based upon SCIENTIFIC DATA!

There can be no "political opinion" on the scientific facts.

My belief is that G-d evolved.......
later on Covering Cherub Lucifer was created........
and eventually he decided on an experiment that led a third of the angels into
a different way of life rather than harmony and love.

G-d resorted to drastic measures to set in motion a series of events that would
even lead to the salvation of the fallen angels when G-d created Adam and Eve.....
and put them in a place where they would shortly meet a talking dinosaur that was
temporarily influenced or even possessed by Lucifer......

I do believe in Evolutionary Theory.... but not an Atheistic version of it........

What Mellen Benedict reported reminded me of chapter 13 of Stephen Hawking's Universe
that is entitled The Anthropic Principle. In that chapter he explains an Atheistic version of The Cyclic
    Model of the Universe.

So Derideo_Te...... are you profoundly offended by the idea that there might be two fundamental energy

No, you’re still lying. You believe in evolutionary theory. Full stop, end of statement. You also believe in a whole load of other things but they don’t alter the nature of evolutionary theory as you believe it and they certainly don’t alter the nature of evolutionary theory as anyone else does.

But..... members of your own family will probably go and watch Heaven is For Real.......
    or even read the book.......
Colton Burpo reported meeting animals in heaven........
and it is a good thing if you leave yourself an open door to not
dogmatically rule out the possibility to somebody in your family that maybe... just maybe... Colton did perhaps meet animals in heaven?????

How far does one have to go to concoct theories allegedly in support of the mythology of the Bible? The Bible is a book of fiction with numerous human authors, not peer reviewed science.

We’re not talking about what I or my family might believe, we’re not even talking about what you believe, we’re talking about the fact that the term “Atheistic Evolutionary Theory” is linguistically and logically flawed. If you can’t directly address that simply point, don’t bother responding, especially not with another of your irrelevant rambling tangents.

Evolution....... that could have been tweaked by beings with even greater technological
capability than we humans have in 2018..... is an idea that even Richard Dawkins Ph. D. has
    admitted cannot be ruled out.

I submit........ Evolutionary Theory cannot even be limited to four dimensional space time......
but must accomodate the M-Theory variation on String Theory.......
and really... should potentially fit with Bosonic String Theory.

I got into this topic so many times that I wrote a blog to summarize where I was at so far:

I am worried about a serious devaluation of the USA dollar.........
I refuse to misunderestimate George Soros... especially after he gets somebody like
    Warren Buffet as an ally.

When faced with a situation where over one million Americans could lose more than one million dollars each.......
..... I am willing to put out ideas that have the capability of causing humans to come to believe that our lives are
worth far, far, far, far , far more than we ever imagined possible...........

... once that is done we are all set up for a massive increase in the value that we place on land in
rural areas within one hundred miles of each major USA city.

The version of Evolutionary Theory that leaves so little room for taking near death experience accounts
seriously......... puts us humans into a state of mind that is relatively less optimistic than
near death experiencers..... and their students like me! A more Theistic / Philosophical version of
Evolutionary Theory that postulates the first intelligence originating here:

... is more probable.... and more logical...... because it expands Evolutionary Theory to essentially infinite time in the past..... . and does not limit evolution to merely 13.72 billion years...... which.....
could tend to make us humans more optimistic......
which can translate into a difference in our behaviour............

Could a real estate boom plus better Fed policy pay off USA national debt?

But..... on the other hand if we allow George Soros and Warren Buffet to earn billions off
a plan to devalue the USA dollar......... the world could go into a serious depression.......
that in a sense is founded on pessimism...........
which has a basis in the seriously flawed presently taught Atheistic Version of Evolutionary Theory.......

Buffett’s $55 Billion Gamble is a Bet on U.S. Collapse, Warns CIA Economist

Near death experiencer Howard Storm Ph. D. was shown that a great worldwide depression could be cause...........
by the way that we think about the real value of these lives that we have been given........

    https://www.near-death.com/experiences/notable/howard-storm.html#a04

How do we change our behaviour?

By changing how we think...... and view our situations.

Why don't you try this on for size, Dennis?

Stone age man looked and the world around him and the stars above and couldn't figure out what it was all about so he made up superstitions. Those superstitions were based upon the natural world and the universe as he misperceived them. Those superstitions have subsequently EVOLVED and been EXPLOITED to control the minds of others. But in their ORIGINAL CORE FORM those superstitions were the FOUNDATIONS for SCIENCE!

Those stone age superstitions were the earliest hypothetical attempts to explain NATURE and the UNIVERSE. Had stone age man taken the NEXT STEP and TESTED those superstitions against knowledge that he later acquired and then either dropped the superstitions that failed the tests or even just formed new hypothetical superstitions to integrate the latest knowledge that had been acquired that disproved the original ones can you imagine where we would be now as far as scientific knowledge goes?

Can you imagine what science will discover in the next 6000 years?

Can you imagine where we would be NOW if we had started science 6000 years ago?

So instead of trying to tear down science by propagating those thoroughly debunked stone age superstitions how about leaving that baggage behind and getting on with the FUTURE of mankind in the INFORMATION AGE?

Your reply is significantly valid..... because
every religion initiated by humans....... (often by humans who had a near death experience or
at least an out of body experience or some other spiritual experience)........
that religion.... as soon as it has a structure........ an organization with a group of humans making decisions and writing checks in some form.........will tend to compete.......
with other religions or variations on spirituality...........

That is when exaggerations creep into religions........
and those exaggerations are highly offensive... that cannot be denied.........

An Atheistic variation on Evolutionary Theory......
seems like an antidote to the competing variations of religion.......

Most variations on religion..... are at least somewhat offended by the idea that
people from other philosophies may make it into a paradise / heaven more quickly than
the supposedly superior people who are in agreement with them and a part of their
    own variation on spirituality?!

Ok.... how about the wording of Relatively Atheistic Evolutionary Theory vs.......
    Relatively Spiritual Evolutionary Theory?

Evolutionary Theory that accommodates M- Theory, Bosonic String Theory.... and even
Multiverse Theory as it presently stands.............
allows for taking some of those Back to the Future type movies......
as something of a real possibility for the future of humanity?

Could somebody go back in 1891......
when Adolf Hitler would be about two years old.......
could they get hooked up with Adolf's mom.........
(rather possible considering that Adolf's dad beat him up nearly every day.........
so he therefore probably wasn't very nice to his wife either)........
and in this other time line...... .that would not exactly be kosher..... in a strict sense.......
could the Holocaust or at least much of the death toll..... and misery toll of the Holocaust......
    be prevented?

    Or at least alleviated?

The Philosophical implications of Multiverse Theory?

No. Evolutionary theory is just evolutionary theory, addressing the means by which living species develop and change. Tacking other random words to the term is just meaningless misdirection and all the other topics you’re bouncing randomly between are entirely separate.

You're not disagreeing, you're evading. Your NDE copy-pastas have nothing to do with evolutionary theory or the evidential basis behind it. The experiences described in the NDEs could be a completely accurate representation of reality, there could be a creator God sitting in heaven, the evidential basis for evolutionary theory would remain exactly the same. If they were real, evidence leading on from them could build upon and develop evolutionary theory just as evidence from all sorts of other fields have done but the simple claims for their existence alone don’t change a thing.
