If it wasn't patently laughable, it would already be public.

The biggest problem is obstruction by the Maricopa County Board.

If all they did was recount what was already counted, the count won't change much. Unless they uncover a substantial number of illegal votes - non-residents and the like; but, I don't think that would change much.

What needs to be looked at are the voting machines in question. If they're clean? Then fine.

Honest people would be forthcoming - the Maricopa County Board has been outright obstructionist. If there were malfeasance, they would have every reason in the world to obstruct; afterall, they would be facing jail time.

They gave the Ninjas some of the machines, and as a result they all have to be replaced as they can no longer assume to be safe thanks to the time they spent with the Ninjas. Will the Senate GOP give the county the money to replace them when nothing comes of their witch hunt?

The Repubs have been trying to stall having to admit they have nothing so that other counties around the country can start their own witch hunts. They know if this one is a bust, there will be no reason for anyone else to waste money on them

    Who cares?? Money??

Based on the county board's belligerent behavior, I wouldn't trust anything they said or did, and come election time for their seats I'd vote 'em out of office.

Besides, since when has any Democrat ever cared about spending money?? Just print some more right?? Or maybe divert some of those millions going to study "climate change effect on covid", lol...

You guys are really something else.

Dude, I'm such a small government originalist I don't want Social Security, Medicare, Dept. Of Education, Dept. Of Energy, NSA, the Federal Reserve, et al.

That's all on you leftists. I believe in freedom and limited government.

I regard fully 2/3 of the Fed Gov to be unconstitutional.

You big spending liberals abandoned limited government decades ago, and it will be the death of us.

It's called sarcasm. I'm an advocate of the Austrian School. You're a Keynesian.

So, since you're a Keynesian - just print more "money" ;)

Cyber Ninja (who would even hire a company with that name. It sounds like a 12 year old boy band or some such nonsense) didn't follow the proper procedures for "chain of custody" so the machines are considered "destroyed". The state has already spent millions to replace them as they can't take them back with any degree of certainly after they've been mishandled.

Oops. Sorry Darth man! I didn't see you explained this already. I am half asleep. ;-)

Cyber Ninjas. What a dumb name for a company that wants to be taken seriously. I hope whatever coo-coo hired him gets their hiring privileges revoked.

Some people see everything in binary terms, if you don't express enough Trump hate it is assumed that you worship him.

The county and state governments are controlled by Republicans; they both certified and audited the vote, confirming that Biden won.

The crazy people who fantasized that they could befoul the democratic process by a sham in which a conspiracy crackpot with no experience in auditing was paid off by fat cat Trump cronies contrived an hilarious farce.

Their promised transparency is being forced upon the clown show.

With its bamboo ballots, clandestine watermarks, Italian satellites, etc., etc., etc., it was a hoot while it lasted.

As we chortle with reminiscences of the ridiculously-protracted Big Bamboozle caper, this encapsulates the attempt to impart an aura of legitimacy - piling the ballots next to the toilets while high school graduations rightfully were given priority:

... [F]orklifts began lifting pallets filled with boxes of ballots onto trailer beds to move to a temporary warehouse, a building on the south side of the fairgrounds The sage-green warehouse sits directly next to the Crazy Times Carnival, which has been using the Wesley Bolin's restrooms for carnival-goers as public bathrooms, creating a second, ongoing security issue beyond the relocation from the Coliseum.

No legitimate audit would fail to subject the peripatetic ballots to urinalysis.

Can't speak to the competency of the company or anyone else involved - Republican, Democrat, cat, or dog...

Our country is a mess because the majority of citizens are corrupt, dishonest, and incompetent.

Nothing can save America at this late stage in our collapse. The best we can hope for is to buy time - a few years would be great. If we can make it to 2030, that's the best I could expect.

I do not agree at all. The majority of citizens are just normal folks trying to make a living and provide for their families and make a better life for themselves. If the majority of citizens are anything it is complacent or too self-absorbed

Why can't anyone speak to the competency of the company? The have no large scale election auditing experience. They've tainted the machines to the point they are not usable and they have to have stalled on completing the farce to the point this action needed to be taken to stop this nonsense.

I suspect that Trump and his allies are throwing out these wild theories and the company "leaks" them to the public just to keep Trump supporters on the hook believing there is *something* amiss to stoke the division even more. It brings him millions of dollars to fund his lifestyle (he's not using it for any legal actions and he hasn't put up any of his own money which tells you he doesn't even believe his lie).

The reality is Trump lost because of his non-leadership during the pandemic. Period. If he was capable of taking professional responsibility for the pandemic or personal responsibility for losing the election because of that, we would have been able to turn the page. Because he hasn't and he won't, he will go down in history as inept, ineffective and anti-American. He's a traitor in my eyes and always will be. No man should EVER be put before our country or Constitution and the only reason he is is because of spineless "leaders" who are terrified of his penchant for revenge. They have every right to be. He is evil and has no concept of loyalty or appreciation (ie. Pence, Barr, Guiliani, just about anybody fired during his administration) and the saddest part is this is exactly who he has ALWAYS been. Decades long history show that he has absolutely no morals, values, ethics, decency, compassion, honesty or integrity. So the people got exactly what they voted for and now we are all being forced to suffer for it (just like we all suffer under anybody seated in the WH we didn't vote for). It's beyond pathetic.

I've met quite a few people who fit that description but I don't believe the *majority* of people are that way. If anything, I would say we, as a nation, are completely clueless about how fortunate we really are and we've taken that for granted to the point that anybody devoid of honesty, competence and integrity is able to push their way through the food chain to exploit our apathy.

Decent and honorable people don't stay in politics. They get eaten alive there. So, all we do is go on PF and similar sites to complain about it and "woulda, coulda, shoulda" instead of working together and demanding our elected officials have the character we *claim* we want them to have. You can read a billion messages here with people completely denying or whitewashing ANYTHING some of these monsters do. That's why the monsters can keep NOT doing the right thing. Rationalization, apathy and laziness are the issues but unbridled hate for X leads the pack.
I don't agree with this either.

I have two children so I have to hold onto the belief they will have a better country than what we've allowed it to become.

It's okay. We don't have to agree. The sun will still rise tomorrow.
