That’s fine. But my position is the one supported by empirical evidence. It’s all in this thread if you are interested. :)

Yes it is. And until someone presents empirical evidence to the contrary it will remain so. Many have tried, all have failed. I present evidence, all I get as response is unsubstantiated opinions and “muh rights”!

Yes because, unlike many you can actually read research critically analyse the results before formulating an opinion based on the findings

It is not a common skill nor is it one commonly practised by many

Thank you. In light of us having had more than our share of disagreements, this comment from you means more to me than I can express.

You don’t think the infected vaccinated can infect the unvaccinated.

Whether mask wearing had no or little effect on virus spread in America.

    EUROPEAN COVID DELTA MAP

    Weeks 29/30 (End July)

This is the worst yet - Spain (brown) is at 500 deaths per week and so is much of southern-France.

France is at 229 deaths per week and Germany is at the lowest of any European country ...

Most don’t. That’s why so many died of Covid. Because they didn’t care about basing their decisions on empirical evidence.

People died because they didn't have access to the vaccine or declined it.

Sure. All those deaths between March 2020 and December 14, 2020 that were preventable by applying principles of epidemiology to mask usage we blame on vaccine skeptics. LOL

No. We blame them on no vaccine availability.

You expect a vaccine for a novel virus in what time frame? What do you blame for deaths of vaccinated people?

No, I don't expect the vaccine that fast. But that doesn't change the fact that its absence was the cause of deaths.

Because there is no compelling evidence PPE and lockdowns were effective in the US and quite a lot of evidence they were not.

Are you quite sure it wasn’t the absence of a treatment/cure that is responsible for the deaths? Or personal choices that determined whether or not one was exposed to the virus?

I don’t get it. It’s like saying the absence of an HIV vaccine is responsible for AIDS deaths or that the absence of the Mushroom of Immortality is responsible for all death. It’s like we have no control over our destiny until someone in a lab makes a vaccine (that doesn’t stop all deaths by the way). :)

The how come Australia had so many fewer deaths per capita?

LOL. They didn’t die from a preventable viral infection, they died because there was no vaccine. You are arguing that vaccines are the only way to prevent deaths caused by viral infections. It’s an original argument for sure.
