Something I hadn't expected after the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union was that Central European countries like Hungary and Poland would take the lead in fighting for traditional, national, conserative, Christian values..Thank God for these brave men and women, the western world may yet be saved.

PM Orbán at CPAC Hungary: ‘The Antidote to the Woke Virus Is in Hungary’

The annual CPAC Hungary conference kicked off on Thursday, 4 May, as the second Hungarian instalment of the grandiose event. Some elements were carried over from last year: for example, the venue was the Bálna shopping and cultural centre again, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, just like last year, delivered a speech.

He started by welcoming ‘the defenders of the free world’, then addressing his Georgian counterpart directly quickly after, who, as he put it, showed ‘how to live in Russia’s shadow while keeping your country and keeping the peace’.

He went on to call Hungary ‘an incubator where the conservative politics of the future is experimented with’, and a country where progressive liberals have actually been defeated by a Christian-conservative political force. This is why Hungary is the most appropriate place to host CPAC in Europe, Orbán noted. It all started with his Fidesz party’s 2010 victory, when they took over a country that was ‘in a state that was hard to imagine could have been any worse’, said the Prime Minister. He added that his administration has proved since 2010 that ‘only conservatives can help where liberal leftists have ruined a country’. The Hungarian success story has been ongoing since.

The Prime Minister also talked about ‘the woke mind’ virus, a common theme throughout the day—a block of speaking events was even titled ‘No Woke Zone’. In his speech, PM Orbán said:

‘We are all under attack, in Europe as much as in America…The attack is not of an economic nature, we are facing a biological weapon, they launched a virus attack against us. This virus was developed in progressive liberal laboratories…This virus didn’t escape from the laboratory, but was developed, propagated and spread worldwide.’

Let's hope countries like Poland and Hungary don't adopt western countrys' ethics such as drag shows for children and female impersonators being allowed to use the girl's bathrooms.

The leaders of both Poland and Hungary do much to concern us as they employ populist emotional appeals to support such activities as politicizing their judiciaries and fostering an us vs. them outlook.

    Regards, stay safe 'n well.

Didnt see anything "emotional" in the leader of Hungary's speech.
And revealing how "populist" has become a negative in the liberals mind.

Their social development was slowed down by being a satellite nation of the Soviet Union.

They have yet to expand fully into their freedom.

They raced to right-ism to over-compensate for all of the years of oppression that they had lived under during the occupation of the USSR.

Little do they know that their right-handed conservative government will stymie their rights and slow their economic growth. They still haven't learned that full freedom and rights can come from a left-centered government without the need to become communists.
