Well, the topic is criminality of Dems VS Reps. No reasonable person would believe that Dems would want criminals voting if they believed they would vote against them. Personally, I believe both parties are a bunch of thieves.

That is not reasonable. Every action by either party is to gain or maintain power. You are not qualified to speak for what others believe. You can believe that Dems work to get votes for Reps if you want.

    That post is nonsense.

Seriously, Nothing you wrote is either relevant or comprehensible.

I will point out that 100% of Republican beliefs are simply telling us what they think Democrats believe.

It's a trick question: They are the same. Two sides of the same lousy coin. Baked **** vs. sauteed ****...

Let’s just say it: The Republicans are the problem.

"We have been studying Washington politics and Congress for more than 40 years, and never have we seen them this dysfunctional. In our past writings, we have criticized both parties when we believed it was warranted. Today, however, we have no choice but to acknowledge that the core of the problem lies with the Republican Party.
The GOP has become an insurgent outlier in American politics. It is ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition.

When one party moves this far from the mainstream, it makes it nearly impossible for the political system to deal constructively with the country’s challenges."

You are not qualified to speak for what others believe. Odd that you would make such a claim in the same post you used the term "nonsense".

You can certainly call Republican politicians criminals and I will even agree with you. Democrats are no better.

Specious question. Poverty exists, it will always exist, republican or democrat. Meaningless question, in other words. I meant at the federal level.

Half of the states have a greater poverty rate than California.

CA has more big cities, and subsequently more Urban areas, than any other state.

It's due to demographics, not parties. 40,000,000 choose to live in CA, this causes a big city phenomenon more than other sates, and big cities have urban areas, where the poor find it easier to live than in rural areas.

Moreover, if you were poor and homeless, would you rather live in New Jersey, or CA? You can't blame CA for that. They gravitate to CA for a good reason.

Now, since 1900, there have been 21 governors, and of those, 14 of them were REPUBLICANS.

So, since 1900, 66% of the governors have been Republican.

Anyway, yours is a specious stat, because if you look at states from the standpoint of wealth, per capita, CA is the upper 25% in the nation and is the 5th largest economy in the world, and before COVID, we had a multibillion dollar surplus, not to mention that a child can go all they through high school for free, including books, and the first two years of colledge for a marginal semester fee and books, not to mention free vocational schools (ROP) .

So, you can take your glass-is-half-full-debby-downer bullshit and can it.

But, since you are using CA to rag on democrats, lets look at the entire nation, and compare dems to repubs that way:

When you look at it nationally, there is no clear winner or loser on the poverty front, it's pretty much spread around. There are tons of poverty in the south, and they are red states. So, let's dispense with your argument because the gist is 'ca bad therefore dems bad' but if dems or repubs good or bad is your argument, then you can't go by one state, you have to look at the entire nation.
    https://frac.org/maps/acs-poverty-state/acs-poverty-state.html

But, if you look at the nation in terms of performance stats, dems win, hands down.

BTW, before Covid, CA had a multibillion dollar surplus, but, never mind that, Here are some hard data for you:

    Not to mention www.presidentialdata.org

    Balance of Trade

    • Total trade deficit under Democratic Administrations (in millions): $5,625,690
    • Total trade deficit under Republican Administrations (in millions): $7,042,879

I mean, you want rag on dems in CA, as if 'dems not better than repubs',
but isolating one state is not going to get you the truth , you need to look at it from the federal level. At the federal level, it's clear that dems are better for america.

I guess that depends on whether or not you count convictions, pardons, and unindicted co-conspirators.

No sir. You specifically referred to Democrats doing what they do with no Republicans in the way. CA is a large sample of that being incorrect. Going federal would only create more of the same.

Years of taking in the highest taxes while poverty worsens cannot be excused.

You are incorrect. Dems do not try to reduce poverty. They claim they do, but once they have the money, they turn it into excuses. CA is an example of how Dems take in the highest taxes and still lead the nation in poverty.

Memes are great. Why think for ones self when it has already been done for you. They are all criminals in my eyes, but those who tow a party line can only find fault in the other party.

BTW, Here in Los Angeles, (The bluest part of the bluest state) we have high taxes combined with strict gun laws. Care to discuss crime results?
