Crisis Pregnancy Centers Helped Save 800,000 Unborn Lives in 5-Year Span: Study

Crisis pregnancy centers saved 800,000 unborn lives during a five-year span from 2016-2020 and provided hundreds of millions of dollars in free services to pregnant women, according to a new study that is being widely cited by pro-lifers in light of attacks on the centers by U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren.

The study by the Charlotte Lozier Institutefound that crisis pregnancy centers – sometimes called pregnancy resource centers or pregnancy help centers – saved an estimated 828,131 unborn lives between 2016 and 2020 and have saved “millions of lives” since the first centers were launched more than 50 years ago.

The 828,131 figure “reflects the tremendous and awe-inspiring collective work of life-affirming pregnancy help centers, both medical and non-medical, to empower women and couples to choose life for their children,” the study said.

Further, the centers assisted roughly 2 million men, women and youth in 2019 with “services estimated at a value of over $266 million,” the study said, citing previous data.

According to the study, there are more than 2,700 crisis pregnancy centers in the U.S. filled by 15,000 staff and nearly 54,000 volunteers.

Crisis pregnancy centers provide education, classes, medical care and resources such as diapers, clothes, car seats and strollers to pregnant women. The study used the term “pregnancy help centers” (PHCs).

Why would any sane or rational person want to see these fine people shut down. The research shows what a huge positive influence they provide in helping people and getting them through a bad situation. Many have talked about the kind of assistance people would possibly or actually need in a post Roe world and here are fine people providing that very care.

 

This is a very valuable service being provided to mothers and their babies, from exams to health care to meeting the needs of the mother and baby post birth with formula, strollers, infant car seats, dusposable diapers, and other needs. They said that in a post Roe world people would need to stand up and provide support for mother and baby and these people are doing exactly that yet pro aborts want to take this support away from mother and child hoping to trap them into a nearly forced abortion.

 

The Senator from Massachusetts is pure evil in her desire and attempt to target these great people who are helping others.

 

Proabortion is prodeath. IMO Abortion activists would rather women kill the baby as they view the child as an enemy against the fight for woman's equal standing with men. In their interpretation, equality can only happen if children are seen as a parasite to be removed.

At this point of our society they can push for death at a developing stage within gestation. But as society changes in future, and our offspring are further devalued, a new born or toddler could easily be seen as a "thing" of little value and ultimately disposable at the whim of women.

Life Centers are dangerous to the culture of death agenda.

 

That is how many of them see it. I’m glad that there are these life centers and that they are providing real help to many women and babies who need it. It is sickening that the pro aborts would target such places with terrorist attacks.
