Curious why allegations are worse than being on trial

Many are refusing to give Roy Moore his Constitutional right to presumption of innocence before finding him guilty in their opinion and in the MSM (I understand the Constitution doesn’t apply to opinions so calm down lefties), but yet it’s ok to ignore that Sen Menendez is actually on trial. Not to mention the multitude of other defects criminal and moral in the Democratic party.
