Dark matter: Our review suggests it's time to ditch it in favor of a new theory of gravity (phys.org)
What there is no Dark Matter?

It looks like this MOND theory is going to save us from a huge mistake made in the gravity department.

It's amazing that an old theory has come back from obscurity to give us an answer to the theory of gravity. 1982? That was the year I was born! What a pleasant coincidence for me.

As an aside: To all you Jew and Israeli haters out there, do you see how they have saved us? This discovery of MOND may not have been available if they had not existed.

I like the idea of there perhaps being TWO, as opposed to merely one truly fundamental energy......
and I am hopeful that eventually some variation of a Theistic Evolutionary Theory will make use of this possibility.

A second fundamental energy may help to explain why Dr. Stephen Hawking could not seem to fit gravity in with his search for one fundamental energy.

I have long been skeptical of dark matter. It seems they made up a new type of matter, that no one can detect, to patch a hole in their math.

could be the black hole at the center of universes too, many potential explanations

it's like declaring a God created the unknown, the term dark mater is just a placeholder for the unknown - one hasn't really answered the question, just gave it a placeholder to fill in the unknown parts

We do detect it. We see the gravitational effects it has on other bodies. That is how we know it's there.

It is only a suggestion. In fact Modified Newtonian dynamics (MOND) is a hypothesis. It isn't even a theory.

What they "see" is the math didn't work out as expected so they came up with dark matter to explain it.

Huge underground search for mysterious dark matter begins
In a former gold mine a mile underground, inside a titanium tank filled with a rare liquified gas, scientists have begun the search for what so far has been unfindable: dark matter....Scientists announced Thursday that the five-year, $60 million search finally got underway two months ago after a delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. So far the device has found ... nothing. At least no dark matter.....By the time the experiment finishes, the chance of finding dark matter with this device is “probably less than 50% but more than 10%,”.....
