It is the HMO's cheif MD that will approve or deny care and let the hospital and patient pick up the cost for further treatment/services.

Hence the masses of broke ass bankrupt people with chronic illnesses.

Affordable care act is a joke it just promotes the increase of healthcare cost. As doctors and insurance corporations know the taxpayer/gubment will flip the bill when the insurance runs out. And they can recommend evaluations and treatment not even needed.

If you can show me in any part of the healthcare act any proof that it will cap prices, restrict limits on specific high cost services, and prohibit any "private" insurance company from terminating treatment recommended by the treating MD, I will accept the healthcare act as successfull. Untill then, this healthcare act is just one big joke to get the medical industry and insurance industry paid.

You think you pay a lot for health insurance now, you will pay double in 4 years. Mark my words. and this post. Print it and reflect on it in 4 years.

Yes, but seeing how the Administration argued the mandate as a penalty and related to the commerce clause, it was only common sense that we would think it was unconstitutional and Roberts decided that was the case so we are vindicated in that ruling. There is no mandate as penalty relating to the commerce clause but only a tax.

If the administration had gone to court and argued this as a tax, I would have made the same choice you did since that already had precedent.

    All you poor misguided drones.

The death panel is non existant.

Private medical insurance conmapines have Utilization Reviewers Often a MD who determines if they the insurance company will aprove payment for treatment or service, based on the communication with the treating physician MD and the MD representative from the insurance company.

So if there is any death panel, it is the priavate insurance MD who decides if they will pay for treatment/service or to go to court and suck you bone dry of all you and your family's money.

If the insurance company rep determines treatment is not needed, and the treating physican determines it is, you the patient must decide to pay for the treatment yourself of go without it.

You are in charge of your own death. If you are ignorant about your condition, and ignorant about the treatment options, you will get screwed over.

Your butt hurt yet? Too complex to understand? Then you are screwed, and need to mimic what the propaganda sales of the media tells you.
