Hillary's case that Trump does not have the Temperament or the capacity to be President collapsed in the debate tonight. He clearly has both. It's time to leave the failures of the past and Make America Great Again!

My Uncle was a flight surgeon on the Nimitz. Squids all up and down my family really. Doesn't make me a naval expert growing up in it certainly... but running from a debate doesn't make you one either.

They were simple enough questions. It is ok to concede the argument and all, but dont get smug and pretend you won it.

Don't worry that he says stuff that is insane. How did he think we were going to get Libyan and Iraqi oil?

Put Sunoco service stations next to their oil wells?

What about, "Would not do first strike ... [but we] can't take anything off the table."

So given the state of the world today, what would you take "off the table" and why?

If you had intelligence that a hostile nation was planning an attack on the US with chemical or nuclear weapons what would you do about it?

We would secure them. On the ground and in the air. We did it rather a lot, but then turned them over to new authority and bugged out. Its ok not to understand things. I wont hold it against you.

Well, see this is how we haven't already been destroyed... The threat of mutual destruction. If you take your nukes off the table... Kinda likely ro be nuked. Did you think Obama stopped carrying around nuclear codes and "the football"? Did you ever wonder why he does that? Cause you cant take anything off the table.

Ever wonder why we openly keep an arsenal of banned chemichal and biological weapons in violation of all these treaties we go punishing other nations for? Nahhh... dont worry about such things. You have talking points to re-post. You are busy enough.

personally I do not think either candidate pulled ahead by this debate, Trump was having an off day, maybe a cold or something, but he did ok, I doubt this debate will change anyone's mind

I agree. First thing we'll need to do is a get a candidate who will actually try and do that. None of the two we have now can or will.

Either Trump would not first strike, in which case TRUMP would take first strike off the table, or he might strike first, because he isn't taking anything off the table.

I'm sorry you are so hypnotized by your Messiah that you can't see the irrationality.

Presidents do not have the power to unilaterally send us into conflict (outside of 60 day engagements). That is the perview of congress alone I am afraid.

Well... Unless that country is Libya, and you are Obama.

The most conservative, hawkish foreign policy people and international businessmen will tell you that what he said is incoherent.

We aren't going to make those countries U.S colonies.

Wanting him gone and playing cowboy in the desert under the guise of fighting terrorism aren't the same thing you know. I've wanted American Idol gone for years now but that's not the same thing as gathering up a bunch of people and marching on the studio to oust them. Prior to Iraq this nation had credibility and world sympathy in our favor and Bush blew it for us on both counts. Think of the good, even in the war on terrorism, we could have done without years of attempted nation building that ended up creating the terrorists and support that we were told by the Bush administration were already there. Iraq was an idiot's move, and the moment Bush got his way and put American boots on the ground, he set in motion just about everything we see in the region today, including ISIS. You can blame ISIS on Obama and his administration has certainly played it's role, but if there had been no Iraq war there would be no ISIS, and we wouldn't have created tens of thousands of new terrorists in the process.

Okay, smarty pants, name one person with any credibility on such matters who even agrees that what Trump said is even remotely feasible. Find one who says it is, even if they think it's a bad idea.

No he did not blow our credibility.

A tad bit of history for you.

    Saddam invaded two countries.
Saddam was being bombed by Clinton. Isn't that an act of war?

Saddam had wmd. Bill Clinton said so. So did the congress. How do we know?
Bill Clinton signed a law that made Saddam our enemy that we had to remove.

So what did Bush do? Bush removed him.

    See how easy history is?
