Of course the conspiracy buffs dismiss statements to the contrary from JFK and the white house meetings held on Vietnam from the summer of 1962 to the first week of November which show that the reason for publicly stating the intention to widthdraw 1000 American troops from Vietnam was to put pressure on then South Vietnamese President Diem (Who was later "whacked" by the CIA on the orders of JFK) The other part, the 1965 widthdrawl, was always dependant upon the ability of the South Vietnamese to display competance in their abilities to resist the Vietcong and the NVA. JFK had no intention of complete pull out knowing the consequences of the Domino Theory, later proven true in the 1970's with the fall of Laos, Cambodia and all of Vietnam into mass murdering socialism. the ONLY falsehood is your ramblings and lies.i notice how you conveintly only post PARTS of things,not the ENTIRE documents that he told his aides that he was going to completely pull out of vietnam by the end of 1965 after he got relected and left out as well how two days after his assassination Johnson signed document #277 that reversed kennedys policy.and that the stars and stripes newspaper had it all over the front pages that Kennedy said he would be out if vietnman completly by 1965. miserable fail from you as always.
