Apparently when something goes in favor of the gays, it's the result of a grand conspiracy or blackmail, and we are to believe this despite having no evidence. So grand, in fact, that strong majorities of legislatures in different states and countries around the world would vote in favor. The polls are skewed, multiple government's under threat of blackmail, the Pope blackmailed and forced to step down, secret organizations (which I'm apparently a member of) are scouring the corners of the internet to fight people like Sil in debate like this, it's only a matter of time before the ghays acquire nukes and hold the world hostage.

I'm curious if you can provide a source on this "zapping". I've been trying to research cases of "zapping", but none of them involved blackmail. Rather, "zapping" is described as some sort of public demonstration that is meant to embarrass the target. They "embarrass" the target by barging in on the target while this are in public view, and bringing attention to some anti-gay action they took in the past. For a recent example, during the 2012 presidential election, Romney had some of his rallies intruded upon by some gay activists who stood up and made noise in protest until they were forcefully removed. That's what is refereed to as "zapping", and would not typically be described as "blackmail". That said, it's certainly possible that blackmail has also been used, but I think you are using the word "zapping" incorrectly.

I suspect reaching the 50% mark, and 4 successful ballot initiatives in favor of gay marriage in 4 states this last election has broken the glass ceiling. Most people don't care that much, except to the extent that it's politically convenient or inconvenient, and I agree with you that this doesn't necessarily speak highly of our politicians. That said, I don't think you can complain about cases where the normal democratic process established in each state is being used, you've always expressed your support of this (at least when it was used to deny gay rights). If Delaware has a problem with what has happened, they can express it at the ballot box by replacing their elected officials. There are normal processes in each state, and you seem pretty hypocritical for complaining about them now.
