So much winning! I'm almost tired of the massive amounts of winning!

I agree if he testified, he would be stepping into quicksand. Then of course there are the others that have refused the subpoenas.

Can you believe that some of these Hannitized people really believed that yesterday’s hearings were a big plus for Trump? Devon Nunez and his Chalupa, Deep State speech and Jordan’s rapid fire blabbing really got them all excited. I’d love to sit down at a high stakes poker game with these guys....lol

Oh, I can believe it. They thought that the Mueller Report exonerated Bonespurs, too. They don't read anything, and certainly don't pay attention.

As an aside, Jordan is a horseshit examiner.

One of the worst I’ve ever seen. He’s using the same style he used in the sauna with teenage boys when he was bullying them into going to see Dr. Bendover at Ohio State. He really is a scumbag.

Only someone that didn't watch the hearing could come to such an uniformed conclusion. In any measure, it was a very bad day for Trump and his friends. This is just day one.

To adapt an expression used by Boris Johnson.......The Republicans are covering the needle of truth in a haystack of obfuscation and diversion.

A guy that hated corruption would not have gone into business with Agalarov. Trump doesn't care about corruption except to use it for his own benefit.

...no charges have been filed, and that is not an answer to why Wednesday resulted in the case falling apart.

Changing the messaging from calling trumps behavior a "quid pro quo" to "bribery" is a political decision to describe the same behavior. And after watching trumpettes on here, for weeks, waffle back and forth between saying trump did or did not seek a QPQ (often doing both in the same post), you folks should welcome the change.

At least know you can be consistent and say that there was no bribery....unless that also "happens all the time" in this administration?

It is an interesting and unavoidable weakness to the "trump just cared about corruption, not attacking his domestic political adversaries" talking point.

It gets worse though because trump also spoke publicly about and with Ukrainian Presidents before that July phone call. At no point in any of those speeches did he reference or say the word, "corruption." That talking point only emerged after the whistleblower complaint started to break in the news.

So, saying Biden forcing the firing of the AG doesn't look good and might be something to look into, isn't good enough. If he doesn't say the exact word "CORRUPTION" then you dismiss the entire intent. The word games Trump haters play. He did mention corruption at a later meeting.

Well let's see we had a witness that said he heard it from someone who heard it from who heard it from.

The same witness said he met with the President of Ukraine 3 times after the call to discuss aid and NEVER ONCE WAS AN INVESTIGATION BROUGHT UP, even the day after the call. He also said he trust and hasn't know the President of Ukraine to lie and that the President of Ukraine has said repeatedly that they didn't know of any hold on funds until a politico article in Sept, which just so happens to be with Schiff meet with the WB and he started tweeting about it.

You now have Schiff in a corner, he just said on national TV he DOESN'T KNOW WHO THE WB is, wow more to come on this....

We have another witness that said high level corruption calls and talks about investigations have gone on in the last 3 administrations.

After the talking point became necessary to defend his efforts to abuse power by pressuring Ukraine into investigating his domestic political opponent while he simultaneously and unilaterally held up hundreds of millions in military aid, a requested meeting, and a restoration of trade rights. And after the talking point became necessary to defend his efforts to obstruct justice by attempting to hide, lie about, and actively obstruct the investigation by ordering all current and former employees to not cooperate with the investigation.

It's amusing that the GOP, which swallows the notion that Bonespurs can direct people within his corrupt administration to ignore subpoenas, makes stupid arguments about the "process" and "hearsay".

Agree to allow administration officials to testify, then. Chickenshit.

See post 49. It's flat out cowardly bullshit to make this argument when the Bonespurs administration won't allow officials to testify.

    What's he hiding this time?
