.A state judge agreed with Democrats on Monday and dismissed a lawsuit aimed at keeping President Barack Obama off the ballot in Alabama this year, joining other jurists who have thrown out cases arguing Obama isn't a natural-born U.S. citizen and can't legally hold the office.

Circuit Judge Helen Shores Lee, herself a Democrat, sided with a party lawyer who argued that claims about Obama's eligibility to serve are a political dispute, not a legal question, and don't belong in court.

Plaintiff Albert Hendershot Jr. declined comment after a brief hearing, but he previously said he would appeal to the Republican-controlled Alabama Supreme Court

There is merit in them all. Unless someone could present factual info regarding Obama. So far he isn't forth coming with any evidence that could have settled this many years ago. Currently I would be satisfied with just having him return to chicago in January of 2013

What has been presented, a fake BC, the second one of course. Records all sealed, miilions spent covering something, obviously the citizens aren't to know much about the candidate but his word! IMO, it will come to life that we were right! He wasn't eligible, but the door has been opened, just hope Obama supporters won't mind if a conservative representative does the same!

 

The birth certificate wasn't fake, but it wasn't an original magically kept in a dusty drawer in a Hawaii government office somewhere for decades. Hawaii doesn't do that, so the best they could do was take the electronic and ledger information they had and issue a new birth certificate (this is the same reason almost everyone in Hawaii gets a COLB instead). Arguing about the validity of a birth certificate without even bothering to find out the history of how Hawaii issued and issues such birth certificates is the height of ignorance.

As for the millions spent, it has been wasted having to answer moronic Birther court challenges rather than trying to cover "something". IMO, it will eventually come to light that the Birthers were both wrong and pathetic. Get over your latent racism and turn your brains back on, Birthers!

And once again, the reason makes no sense. The judges either say the plaintiffs have no standing ( which makes no sense since the president affects all citizens) or in this case they say elections are a political not a legal dispute ( which also makes no sense since the Us Supreme Court DECIDED the 2000 election).

 

Yeah - that's what hawaii says but of course they're gonna say that to protect obozo. No one believes them but you. I think the original paper copy does exist. The governor said it does.

He's the only President in history that has shown two verified documents proving that he was born in the US.

The records aren't "sealed" any more than the records of anybody else. They are protected by laws because, as the birthers have proven time and time again, their are some nutty people out there willing to go to any lengths to make life difficult for certain people.

And none of the cases have been decided on merit. The judges always say the plaintiffs have no standing or this issue is not a legal matter. Roth "reasons" are preposterous.

 

So how come algranny doesn't know how Hawaii's system works prior to tossing out allegations of fake birth certificates? If algranny can actually advance some knowledge of the issue (verifiable facts that should be paid attention to) I will change my tone, but until then I feel comfortable in knowing that the Birther lunacy is just that.

 

The supreme court said in 1875 that a natural born citizen is one where both parents are citizens. hence, Obozo is not an NBC. It's that simple.
