Democratic leader's call for In-N-Out Burger boycott meets its own resistance

"Anthony Grigore is a Democrat. But as he waited Thursday at an In-N-Out Burger in El Segundo for his meal, Grigore made it clear party loyalty would only go so far.

Just hours earlier, the head of the California Democratic Party called for a boycott of the famed burger chain after a public filing revealed that the company had recently donated $25,000 to the state's Republican Party.

    ------------

California has emerged as the center of the Democratic resistance since President Trump took office. But this activism might meet its match when it comes to In-N-Out, a California institution that some hold with the same level of esteem as the Golden Gate Bridge and Joshua Tree."
So IMO, what we have here is another example taken from the page of the Progressives Playbook in California; If you don't toe the line, we will seek to destroy you.

A few quick facts: Beyond burgers, In-N-Out is famous for it's tremendous focus on it's workers and the communities it operates in. Paying employees far more than other's, it's values and quality have made it, as the article points out, an institution across the state as well in others it has grown into.

What are your thoughts on this call to boycott? Justified because of the apparent donation?

To add a bit more to the story:

"In-N-Out, meanwhile, quickly put out a statement by Executive Vice President Arnie Wensinger that noted that the company "made equal contributions to both Democratic and Republican" political action committees in California in 2018.

Filings show that the restaurant chain gave at least $80,000 this election cycle to Californians for Jobs and a Strong Economy, a committee focused on electing business-friendly Democrats to the state Legislature. The chain also gave at least $30,000 to the committee in 2016."

Has anyone ever noticed that the best rated fast food joints are conservative like Chick-fil-A and In-N-Out.

And Democrats are always targeting the best for boycotts.

Did you notice that in and out donates more to the dems than they to the repubs so they're not really a conservative restaurant in the same vein as Chick fil a?

Democrats don't give a ****, they demand that nobody in the hermit kingdom can donate to any Republican organization or they will be boycotted.

It's pretty simple, if you didn't vote for Obama in 2008 or 2012 you were labeled a racist.

If you didn't vote for Hillary you were a deplorable, a racist, a exenophobe, a homophobe, an enemy of Antifa and MS-13 and a Russian.

The owner of In-N-Out lives in Bradbury where only 64 people voted for crooked Hillary.

    Probably the domestic help.

If you ever been to In-N-Out Burger, you will never ever get people to boycott the place. They have lines you wouldn't believe and then they have people that go out and help people in the line because there are so many people putting in orders.

The owner also allowed the company to give a **** ton of money to the democratic party over the years, which was my point.
But do go on about how conservative a company it is... we're all rapt with attention.

Considering they’re in CA they have to grease the right wheels. They’re not stupid. But behind the scenes...

In-N-Out menu hasn't changed since day one so it's conservative.
(Old proven ways are best...if it's not broken, don't fix it.)

John Wayne use to do the voice overs for In-N-Out commercials back in the 70's when there were only about a half a dozen In-N-Outs.

In-n-Out has a line of 20 cars at midnight in pretty much all locations. Good luck, liberals.

When I lived in Newport Beach nobody cared that the Duke was an actor or a conservative Republican.

I would see John Wayne at the supermarket and driving around town just wanting to blend in with all of the other Republicans.

John Wayne had his really expensive cars he would use when he had to do business with the Hollywood elitist but when he was home behind the Orange Curtain in the OC this was his car that he drove.

Now the Duke did have his yacht tied up to his home private dock, a former U.S. Navy minesweeper.

They have Christian Bible verses on the packaging of their products. That will offend the higher ups on the left.

Leftist, the usefulfull fools, idiots of the Kremlin, the anti war movement attacked John Wayne.

Probably why when the Duke wasn't making Hollywood movies he was supporting the troops who were on the Cold War battlefields including the Vietnam War and his peers attacked him.

In-N-Out, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Del Taco, Der Wienerschnitzel, were all founded in the IE along old Route 66.

So was the outlaw 1% Hells Angels MC. (not San Berdo but Fontana but they wire the San Berdo patch))

A lot if history in the IE.

I believe the term IE was coined by the Sol-Cal news media during the 1980's in reference to the San Bernardino and Riverside counties east of L.A. County.

Most people in the world recognize "The Hotel California" in Riverside California.

The last major Sheriff raised posse in America to hunt down a murder (Willie Boy) was raised by the Riverside County Sheriff and took place in San Bernardino County... http://mojavedesert.net/people/willie-boy2.html

The last Sheriff in America as a civilian sworn in as posse member who actually chased down bad hombres over the Mojave Desert on horse back was Frank Bland who would be elected the Sheriff of the largest county in America, San Bernardino County.

The best Sheriffs west of the Mississippi during the 20th Century and the 21st Century have to be...
    Sheriff Biscailuz; LACO
    Sheriff Peter Pitchess LACO
Sheriff Lamb; Clark Co (Las Vegas) Nv
    Sheriff Joe Arpaio; Maricopa County
    Sheriff Bland ;San Bernardino County
