Yes indeed - although the NYT has been a propaganda arm of the Establishment for many years - "Manufacturing Consent" - The Political Economy of the Mass Media - written during the Reagan years w/r to Central America .

This was to be expected w/r to foreign policy - and was no different during the rush to war in Iraq. These days - we are not only getting Propaganda w/r to foreign policy - but propaganda related to domestic policy.
