    Well this wasn't hard to predict. Thinking the Republicans wouldn't allow the investigation - at the hearings they constantly demanded an FBI investigation "only way to know" - "only way to know the truth"....3 days later their tune is changing significantly..... "no matter what the investigation shows, he is still the most dangerous pick for the Supreme Court in our lifetimes" (Sen. Chris Murphy).
    Senator Bernie Sanders writes the investigation need to go beyond accusations, and add time to investigate his answers at the hearing adding "after all, lying to Congress is a federal crime".... so now we should investigate all of his answers. :rolleyes:
    Senator Feinstein is demanding "supplemental investigation" - in other words a witch hunt,,, just go ahead and investigate anything to see if we find something.

    This is the ugliest and most political disgrace this nation has seen for a very, very long time.

    I received a letter in the mail saying Feinstein raped a 10 year old boy. I think she needs to step down until the FBI can investigate this...

    Trump is saying in his press brief that he is letting the FBI conduct the investigation however they need to and whatever the Senate is requesting is fine with him. All he requests is speed. Get it done.

    Well, the congress could have had a investigation, subpoenaed the "witnesses", and had people under oath about this a month ago, everything the FBI will do. Dems stalled, refused, and pretty much held their breath for Bret to resign.

    • Phase 1 – Activate last minute delay chaos (prior “Me Too” investment).
    • Phase 2 – Use sex assault claims to demand investigation, further delay. Use republicans, not democrats, to establish/frame the delay.
    • Phase 3 – Use investigation to frame validity narrative; further delay. Use republican fear, not democrats, to continue the delay. Manipulate FBI.
    • Phase 4 – Use “deeply flawed” investigation narrative to penetrate mid-term membrane…. “Let the voters decide”.
    • Phase 5 – The mid-term election.
    So far, the DC UniParty is executing this flawlessly.

    The investigation will allow the Trumpublicans to approve a VERY suspect candidate in a week or so with some stamp of legitimacy.

    Oh... I almost forgot.....
    When you thought the Democrats couldn't get anymore absurd than trying to claim Republicans were the ones using 11th hour tactics.... along comes one that makes that seem logical.... the media is now questioning Kavanaugh's ability to be impartial due to how partisan and ugly the hearings were.

    You can't make this stuff up.

    Nope... But after his unhinged performance last week, I suppose i'd like to know more, but it's not going to change my opinion as I believe the process was completely tainted by document production issues, not on Kavanaugh's personal behavior....
