Said the successor to Sen. Hillary Clinton, President Trump has "inspired a hate and a darkness in this country that I have never experienced myself.

"It is wrong to ask men and women of color to bear these burdens every single day. ... White women like me must bear part of this burden."

Does there not come a time when the pandering has to stop?

Ronald Reagan preached America as the Pilgrim fathers' "shining city on a hill." For Democrats today, America is the heart of darkness.

Can people lead a republic that they have come to see as a sinkhole of racism? https://www.realclearpolitics.com/a...ats_america_the_heart_of_darkness_139273.html This creators.com article carried by Real Clear Politics is right on. Calling Trump a grand wizard of 1600 is not a way to govern America. It’s sad that today’s democrats think so little of their country.

It is ludicrous to go on about racism with more African Americans working than ever before, their lowest unemployment rates ever, rising wages and tax cuts that led to more jobs and wages and opportunity zones where blight still exists getting new investment, jobs, and housing due to Trump and Carson policies somehow racist.

Why is it that the political left have such a strong and visceral dislike of and near hatred of the America that the rest of us all know and love so much?

Let me ask you something. Do you "hate" your child when you see him do something wrong and you try to correct that behavior?

No but I see Trump as the kind parent trying to caringly correct the bad behavior of the children Pelosi and Schumer.

That's not what you just said - you claimed millions of American Citizens "hated" America. Glad to see you realize that bombastic hyperbole is a pathetic waste of our time and you have decided to stop.

Millions of Americans hate America so much they want to fundamentally transform it into something completely different.

I know some religious conservatives who see American as secular, hedonistic, and morally corrupt and ready for God's wrath. Do you also condemn then?

They would be right. America is turning away from God and being led by Democrats who aim to fundamentally transform America into something completely different. "Utopia"

So there are people on both sides who see America as bad. I myself believe that America is moving in the wrong direction and has lots of problems. I don't see the US as the "shining city on the hill" but I certainly don't see it as the "heart of darkness."

America is being fundamentally transformed from a shining city on a hill to the heart of darkness in front of your own eyes. Democrats, as they like to call themselves, are behind it, motivated by pure hatred. Unless they are opposed, America will be torn down and it's people punished.

I'd like you to clarify what you mean by pure hatred? What do democrats have pure hatred for and how are they trying to transform America?

No. But I do resent folks who view me as a child because my values differ from theirs. It seems rather unintellectual, intolerant and uncivilized to be coerced into living a certain way (what you call 'correcting') by some moral authority.

Parent your children, not your neighbors.

Exactly. Obama and his cult following were much into that hate us until they could transform us mode. Thankfully we rejected transformation.

Maybe you've just been hoodwinked by Satan all this time. Change can be painful.

If racism plays no part, why is African America employment numbers always lower than whites' rates?
If White unemployment rates are way down at ...3.5%, ....then why AA rates up at 7.5%?

7.5% may be low for African Americans but it is still way higher than for whites.

During WWII the government needs massive amount of workers for the war effort. Blacks, women and other minorities were hired in record numbers to fill all the spots.

When the war was over, many of the new minority hires had to give up their jobs to the returning soldiers and to the war shut-down.

None of all of these hires mentioned above has anything to do with the long time practiced of not hiring blacks in private business.

Hatred consumes. It's not always a bad thing. Without hate, there can be no love. In the end, Hatred has to be fueled because it takes energy to maintain, just like love. It is a neutral element. If left with no motivation, the will to hate loses out to laziness, just like love.

    Let's see...

    Trump
    Trump supporters
    White men
    Christians
    Capitalism
    Wealth
    Just to name a few

The collective seeks to fuel envy which leads to hatred and tell people if they hate America enough they can tear it down and take the spoils for themselves. Fundamentally transforming America into something completely different. Utopia...

Good point, I don’t think they hate America...but they hate the booming economy, record low unemployment and that working men and women can keep more of their income. They hate those things because they want to fundamentally transform the country to a socialist state like Venezuela

I think you might be committing several different fallacies here. The first is ad hominem. Instead of addressing the arguments of the left you are attempting to attack them personally and demonizing them instead by making claims about their emotions, like saying they are full of hate. You might be confusing passionate disagreement with hate. Next, there might actually be liberals who are hateful, but that doesn't mean all democrats are hateful. Lastly, there were plenty of Republicans who attacked Obama and Hillary constantly and made it their life goals to tear them down. This can also be seen as hateful and there are probably many on the right who are hateful themselves.

Have you ever been in a debate with someone and instead of addressing your points he attacked you personally and claimed that you disagreed because of some emotional problem you have? Also, have you ever debated someone who made assumptions and generalizations about the group you are in and tried to lump you in? Or someone who only attacked one side and ignored any problems on his side?
